With all the issues the FF Levo as had with water ingress as it put any of you off washing your SL with a hose pipe. I’ve been using one at low pressures as the mud gets everywhere and can’t see a sensible way of cleaning all nooks and crannies without using one. Obviously I’m carful round cable...

Levo SL Gen 1 Official Levo SL Thread

I was supposed to pick my SL on Saturday but had a phone call saying they had made a balls up. The small carbon comp that was showing in stock turned out to be their Demo bike that I rode a couple of weeks ago. All the Shimano parts had turned up and when the mechanic went to get “my bike “ to...

My Spec dealer said 10% was the max he can do on E Bikes as margins were less. He’s got no problem doing 15% on acousticS.

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL peak power and support settings

Interesting, ill experiment more when bike arrives.. thinking about it now though, would you ever get the 250 watts from the motor with only 15% support?

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL peak power and support settings

i tried eco at 100/30 (30 support) but it just felt too easy. I like to have the option of taking it easy or having a work out, or mixing it up on one ride. Those setting felt perfect for me but when I’ve had more time on one I’ll try 100/30 again.

I specked mine with Shimano SLX brakes and drive train. Didn’t like the SRAM stuff at all. I’ve gone for a comp carbon in black.

Surprised you can out spin the motor? I experimented on the demo bike in turbo on a really long climb (not massively steep but one I would be at my limit by half way up) and I was real impressed how I could pedal as fast as I could and still getting good power from the motor. my settings were...

Roval Traverse front wheel bearings play

I would imagine it’s the same as changing any other wheel bearing. Drift or pull out, push or drift n new ones. Can’t be any more complicated than that unless they’re blind ones. puller only then. The bearings must be absolutely sheet if they have play after so little miles. Replace with good...

    29” wheel ?

    Bike Stands.

That looks perfect for gear and chain fettling. I’m getting a 29” so might have to investigate further.

    Bike Stands.

Yes but you don’t put all your weight in the same direction as hanging a bike from it if you see what I mean. the loads are going in a completely different direction. EDIT: just watched the park tool vid about clamping seat posts! Seems my fears are unfounded ?

    Bike Stands.

What are you guys using? Thinking of the small ones that just lift the rear wheel off the floor for setting up gears and oiling chain. also if you’ve got work stands where are you clamping the bike. Not overly keen on clamping the seat post with all that weight hanging off it. Any pics or...

@etoni glad to hear that. Might have been something not right on the demo bike. There are some places round me that will require pushing the bike so hope my new stead feels like it’s helping.
