@chinesederek yes you’ve gota back off quite a bit to make a smooth shift. Although in eco you shouldn't have to back off much. It’ll certainly make your chain and cassette last a lot longer.
@Shane.T it depends how easy or hard and how far you want to go I suppose. I have a few preset settings and depending on distance planned and how I’m feeling I’ll chose before heading out. The standard settings work great though. I’ve tried the eco set
at 35/100 as some others have recommended...
I’ve now done over 250 miles in 12 days on my carbon comp. longest ride has been 41 miles and 4200ft climbing. Had 19% battery left but my legs were near the limit. Have done a few rides in the local woods and found you can rider power less for a good portion of a 2 hour blast and got home with...
I remove the chain quite often to clean. Quick links make it a doddle. I use diesel in a lidded container , put chain in, shake for a bit, empty the dirty stuff out and leave it to settle to use again. Repeat until no grit and crap in the diesel. You don’t need to use much, a gallon last many...
Took the chain and cassette off to give a good clean but couldn’t suss how to get the chain ring off. I slackened the pinch bolt on it but still couldn’t shift it. any ideas.
Billy no mates ride on lockdown day so went nice and steady looking for hills to ride up and get some miles in. settings were eco 35/35 with trail on 50/50, turbo 100/100 .
used eco mainly and that makes the bike feel like a light weight cross country bike.
2600ft climbing. 56% battery...
@p3eps I agree about the push connector for charging. You can never tell when it’s all the way in. Never really feels a positive connection. I’ll keep an eye on that.
When you’ve had 3 months of rain and mud already and the trails start drying up there’s no way I’m staying off the bike. I’m not going to be touching any one or any thing but my handle bars.
Are you concerned about the battery dropping so quick? Seems a bit odd.
It’s amazing how little power and support you need for it to feel like peddling a light bike. I was out with 3 acoustic fit riders yesterday and eco on 35/35 was enough 90% of the time to keep up with them. We did 20 miles...
Took me a long time to go tubeles, much to my riding buddies piss taking every time I had to stop the group. We have a lot of gauze bushes and brambles as well as black thorn trees. I probably got a puncture every second ride. Got a bit embarrassing so went tubeless. bought some wheels off a...
