From my understanding 20 support and 100 power should mean you have to put a load of power yourself into the pedals to get the motor to deliver its max. Have I got that right?
I took a demo Levo SL out and tried eco on 35/100. I found it felt too much like turbo all the time. Didn’t seem to have to put a lot of effort in to get it to full assist.
Yes I bet the SL feels underpowered after a full fat Levo. From my perspective of 25 years on “normal bikes” the SL feels brilliant and powerful enough. I also want to still ride with mates on normal bikes and get a work out.
cant really mate. I’ve tried both and prefer the lighter weight but c@n see why some would miss the extra power. For me personally I like putting the effort in but I’ve been surprised how easy the SL can be compared to my carbon stumpy of 2010 vintage. The SL feels like you’ve got a massive...
Took the demo bike for a final blast before returning tomorro. One thing that really impressed me today was how fast you can spin the cranks and the motor still giving loads of power. Found it hard to out spin the motor?
Im going to bite the bullet and order a small SL next week. My max budget would get me a carbon comp, my dilemma is weather to get the ally comp and spend a thousand on upgrades or buy a carbon and leave it with what it comes with.
is there anyone on here who has bought an ally one? There are...
Had a brilliant day on the demo bike today. 25miles 2920ft climbing. 2h 47m ride time. 33% battery remaining. Ok I did work hard for that and cream crackerd now although arms and shoulders more than legs. All on trail centre stuff. Usually only manage about 20 miles of these trails and on my...
Hi Mat. I’m up for that. You could check out the Yogi mountain bike rides on line too (my brother started the club back in the mid 80s ) there’s not many trails we don’t know between the club members.
Really enjoyed it mate. Turbo was plenty on climbs I’d be blowing out m arse on . Not overly keen on SRAM components but again not a deal breaker. Bike hadn’t been ridden before (small frame size) so forks might not be as smooth as they could be but I’m past the stage of flat out knarly down...
Picked up a demo SL today and just got back from an hour and half ride in the woods. Played with the settings and settled on eco 35/40 trail 70/60 and turbo100/100. Done 14 miles and 1500ft climbing and got back with 54% remaining (no extender) very happy with the power and feel, particularly...
I went into my Lbs Spec dealer in middle of January with the intention of buying a Levo after riding a mates. The head man there asked what my riding intentions were and then advised me to wait till February the 4th as a new lighter bike was being unveiled. He said it’s not common knowledge so...
