Stand or turn up side down. (Easy for me with an SL ?) I can also put my hand on the spider and turn chain backwards that way.

i went from old stumpys 730mm to 780mm on the SL and thought I’d trim bars down as a few tight tree areas had me wincing. After a few week's of riding with the standard bars I’ve decided to leave them at 780. The steering feels so right and the odd tight gap I’m just being a bit more causes on.

I ride mine in eco set at 30% power and support at 45. this feels like your riding with a strong tail wind on a really light cross country bike, hardly break a sweat on a 6 mile old railway line that’s rising gently all the way. When I get to the end of that track the hills get much steeper...

mostly eco 35/35. Trail 50/50 when getting too steep for eco.

I often get 25 miles with 70% remaining. But you need to work for that.

Anyone else think there SL has got quieter with mileage? I’m just over 400miles now and sure it’s les whinny ??‍♂️

I had my first ride using Smart control today. I had expected to do a few miles then revert to my usual but turns out I was most impressed. I also had Strava running and had no issues with either. I set distance to 25 miles and 20% battery remaining. First impression was how good the assistance...

Furthest so far is 41miles and just over 4000ft climbing. I had 19%battery left when I got home. Ride time was over 4 hours. I used turbo a few times on the steeper sections but mostly eco set at 35/35. I’ve come Home feeling much worse after 30 miles on a carbon stumpy ive had for 4 years...

I’ve found in eco set 60% support and power @20% it’s easier than the standard 35/35 . Which makes sense I suppose. I’ll just keep experimenting. I’ve saved 4 different settings for quick set up before each ride and depending on how far and how much energy I’ve personally got I’ll chose one that...

I always get ticks in the summer month. Best thing I’ve found is neat Teatree oil. It’s anti viral too. Dab it on the little buggers as soon as you find em and there gonners. Takes a few hours before they drop off but always works.

Cool! Ask him how you get the chain ring spider off those splines! tried to take mine off to clean but couldn’t get it to budge. Ended up having to undo the 4 bolts that hold the chain ring to the spider.
