Any one changed a front chain ring yet. Bloody price of 12 speed SRAM is ridiculous. Any helpful suggestions for an alternative (not going down to 11speed etc)

Advice/Comments/Opinions buying Levo SL or FF

I think the SL If your riding with non assisted riders (all on acoustics) you’ll be waiting for them on climbs and still getting fit.

Front chain ring. Replace when cassette and chain need doing or not

I don’t measure but i do buy two chains and rotate every couple of 100 miles. Also clean and lubricate after most rides.

Front chain ring. Replace when cassette and chain need doing or not

i haven’t worn out my SL chain and cassette yet but 1300 miles in I’m sure it won’t be long before I need to. So as I’m due to ride the long Mynd in about 8 weeks time I thought I’d buy new cassette and chain to keep ready for when the time comes to replace. i was thinking of replacing the...

It’s a doddle to get in the free hub. Removed casstte. Hold the axle on none drive side. Look which way the arrow points saying loosen on the free hub and turn while stopping the other side moving. When that’s come off the free hub just pulls off. just re read your post and see you’ve got the...

yes but the rear cassette had to stay SRAM as did the discs. Shimano discs are centre lock so only the levers and calliper were changed for SLX. The free hub couldnt be changed either to take the 12 speed Shimano cassette. Still all works really well and the brakes are great.

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL Miles vs Warranty!

1100 miles still ace. New pads in front brake and old pads still service able so in my pack for emergencies. haven’t got it wet yet mind you apart from a few washes with wet cloths.

regarding the map on mission control. See if it works next ride. It sometimes does weird things but works ok 99% of the time. One issue I get is no elevation gain.

    What locks you using

iv got six bikes including a tandem all chained and two Abus D locks linking them all together. Be interesting to see them try lift that lot into a van. :). But your right a ground anchor would be a great idea.
