I've just gone to a 2020 Lyrik from Fox 36 performance on my Trance and I really like them, small bump compliance is noticeably better on the Lyrik, less stiction in initial part of stroke....give a nice plush feeling.
Sounds like your hub has failed, there's other threads about it, warranty claim unless like my 2nd one which was past 12mths so had to get a new hub/wheel.
Just swap and give it a try, depends on what terrain she's riding really, it will flex more but won't suddenly snap if just testing. If she's jumping or doing drops I'd be weary though.
I didn't think the 19 had the sensors to know if you were going up, down or flat. Our 19 is the 4 sensor version not the 6 as the 20's have....these updates are getting scary now not knowing what they'll buggar up.
Probably that much, are you doing it with the rubber grommet removed? Mine came out fairly easily, if its tight don't carry on before trying lock removal, I couldnt figure out how to get lock out.....would really suck if plug got separated inside frame ? sorry I can't offer any more help than that.
Try sending a message via app developers through Playstore or wherever you download the app, usually has a developer contact email address.
Have to be honest and say Giant have dropped the ball on software and app stuff compared to other brands, be ok if they gave an option to go back to old...
Had same prob with my e+1, seems my samsung s10e is not Ride control friendly, put app on my old Nexus tablet and worked straight away.....I don't think Giant are keeping up with ph software.
Not sure what happened with pics lol...
My new wheel turned up the other day after I'd just been for a ride and destroyed my 2nd rear hub ?
Had a spare cheap rear wheel so swapped tyre etc over then fitted front wheel and tested in driveway with the still fitted 40mm Fatbars....it felt really...
The back one is internal hex with nut on outside (same side) so use allen head in torque wrench and spanner on outside nut.
Front one is allen hex on one side and 2 sided nut on opposite side.
Thought I'd try the mullet thing to get the front rolling better through dips and roots.
Managed to pick up a new take off set of 29" Lyrik rc's for a great price so thrrw them on while waiting for the wheel I bought to arrive, popped my 27.5 back in to test the forks out today, had the Fox 36...
My project is well underway, spent too much so hope it works haha.
Picked up a new set of Lyrik rc forks for nearly half price and they're 42mm offset so on a gamble dove in.
Have been running 160mm up front with 40mm rise fatbars for a while so when wheel arrives I'm planning on going back to...
Anyone notice a change in battery usage since the software update? 1st ride since bike did its update to the latest firmware, 2019 Trance, seemed to chew battery a bit more than usual, 65% used in 22kms, 630m of climbing, have my 3rd pwr mode at 200% as before, tyres at usual...
Good to know thanks, I'm a bit the same, I tend to sit at a cadence that when I want to speed up the motor runs out of puff so have to short shift gears, I'm hoping the newer ones feel more like the bosh/brose ones when accelerating but still have the Yamaha low end grunt.
