I'll be honest I'd never heard of it either until it was mentioned by someone else. I Had to go and Google what torx plus was. Made sense then why the bolts on the motor cover didn't fit properly in the torx bit I was using.
A good choice, having just done a route yesterday incorporating Jacobs ladder and 4,000 ft of climbing, peaks is prime e-bike Territory 😂
What bike did you go for?
Bosch is generally the preferred option in terms of dealer support and after market servicing once warranty runs out.
However I think all the motors ride differently, ideally you could do with trying both to see which you prefer.
It doesn't, that's just a badly designed graphic that doesn't have any real world carry over.
Everything being equal you'll get more range because of a larger battery capacity.
I ended up getting the topeak defender xc11. Seconds to clip on/off which is exactly what I wanted. This is the 29"er model on a 27.5 wheel (they were in stock and on offer so took the chance with it)
Not had a chance to test it out yet. Don't care that it looks ugly, I won't see it when I'm...
Unless you go down the route of Motocross boots there's not much you can do to stop a twisted ankle in a situation like. Best you can do is rehab and strengthening exercises to build it back up and keep good mobility.
