🙄
No.
Unless you've put hours and hours in each week for years, are used to dealing with real life confrontation and can control the adrenaline dump to pull off the fancy mcdojo moves you're mostly likely to end up hurt.
Ideally you need to try them for fit, see which geometry suits you better.
Mondraker has the 750 Bosch smart system and ohlins suspension... Know which I'd choose😉
😂
Yeah not gonna happen in the UK. You'd be better off finding a nice small aerosol can of chain oil to keep in your pocket to use as a legal pepper spray.
Glad you fought them off but when a weapon is produced it changes the risk factor even higher. Is it worth getting stabbed for a bike? Stay safe pal, totally understand your rage at these scum but getting a screwdriver through the ribs is a high price to pay.
Nice one on giving them a surprise! Hope you weren't injured. Sadly there's no way to hide an expensive bike whilst you're riding it. Need to be very vigilant for these types of scumbag.
Where abouts were you when it happened? Did you report it to the police?
I love the over run feature, allows me to clear tricky sections without pedal strikes by giving a dab on the cranks and that little burst gets you through.
Would be great to have a software update that allows you to customise the over run.
How many videos are on his channel? Maybe he did say something during one of them. A better thing would be for youtube themselves to warn this happens rather than leaving it to individual creators to say it.
I follow dozens of channels, i don't want to hear each of them repeating the same stuff...
The issue was your claim his channel had been hacked and he wasn't doing anything about it. It was just a scammer and nothing to do with him or his channel.
Raising the issue of new/convincing scams is always worthwhile though.
Your thread title is completely wrong and very misleading. This is just standard scammer trying to impersonate someone. Happens all the time, apart from reporting the account to YouTube there's not much else you can do.
