Going to be at wheelbase in staverley tomorrow as a friend is getting his bike serviced there. Was thinking of doing a ride from there. Was tempted by nan bield but how much hike a bike is required? Not fun with an e-bike!
Any suggestions of routes near there?
I'm finding if you ignore the 'estimated' range, the actual range is great! Well impressed with it so far.
Creaky dry bearings though, done less than 150 miles and I'll need to change them out.
If the large fits comfortably and the standover height is good, the cockpit doesn't feel cramped and your riding position is good... Then go for large?
You do have to make sure the button is firmly pressed, also I find leaning some weight on the seat gives the back wheel better traction. I find it just slips a lot otherwise.
It's not an issue. A friend had a crash at the weekend, toppled down an embankment. The bars were turned fully and hit hard enough to snap the brake lever. No issues with the lock at all.
It really isn't a thing to worry about.
Shame the limit screw can't be set so you can only use 11 gears on the existing mech & shifter.
I've got the same XT setup and that huge 12th cog is not really needed.
Very likely to be both battery rattle and the famous Bosch motor rattle.
Trial and error with the battery using bits of foam.
Also when you take the battery out check the cable run alongside it, mine had a lot of play and could slap about.
Just got the 2022 action team 160 travel so 27.5 wheels... Absolutely love it. Some minor niggles that you think 'what pleb designed this?' (crappy battery cover) but I think with any other manufacturer you're paying more for less.
