I wear Leatt impact shorts underneath as well, i find no issues with leatt pants, they go pass the knees for me, both the 3.0 and 4.0 are great.
the secret to MTB gear is to buy previous season. i just ordered two Yeti long sleeve jerseys at 70% off....doesnt matter to me one bit its previous...
where you located? i would willingly trade mine....but im in Malaysia lol.
Currently waiting for new base models to come into the LBS, the owner has agreed to let me swap
its probably cheaper to buy a used lyrik and sell the pike than to do the charger upgrade. on another bike, i sold a 5 year old Fox 34 topped up just 150usd to get a barely used 2018 lyrik
get the TTX...it totally transform the levo. but with caveats...my experience below
I have a levo 18...
i have a X2 on my manual yeti, and a ohlins TTX on my levo. While the X2 is a great shock, the coil for the levo transformed the bike.
It greatly helps with uphill technical climbs, as the coil squats the rear and delivers the power much better
also helps with landings due to the heavy...
thks. i ride my manual yeti on weekdays, levo on weekends....and i really feel the weight difference, thats why im trying to take about 1kg off the levo, makes a big diffrence to the handling
Got my levo 19 expert a few weeks ago, fitted the following parts for a net savings of 310grms. Its not all about weight though, for example i just like the look of Ti bolts, and the oem spez stem is already incredibly light, but i wanted the renthal stem to match the bars.
Waiting for Comp...
No major changes, my dealer already sent me the 2020 specs...cos i was buying a 2019 and he wanted to me to be aware of the incoming changes
For the expert, just minor change to Fox suspension instead of rockshox
Damn i just ordered mine and its arriving this week. My manual bike has a set of sram XO1 carbon cranks that have withstood 4 years of crank bashing over horrendous rock gardens, and they look like crap...but still solid
1) ride with the battery out
2) ride with the swat tool out
3) ride with the crank cutter tool out (if its an sworks)
4) tighten the 3 small plastic cover bolts on each side of the motor
Owner of a 18 Sworks with ohlins coil, bike went in at 1000km+ for a seized motor, while i was there, tested a 19 expert and was blown away over the significant improvements, motor is smooth and silent, cant feel the disengagement at 25kph at all, bike feels alot ligther even though on paper the...
1000km+ on a sworks 2018...would get a 2019 in a heartbeat. But probably a expert, i dont need the carbon wheels...and i would trade with someone for the smaller 504w battery instead of the 700 to get the weight below 20kg
