mine is just pass 1000km, yes still under warranty, im not worried, our Spez LBS is awesome. My group has 5 Levos. I wont think of buying any other ebike except another levo to be honest, truly love mine.
you need to make sure your LBS has a tech that can work on motor removal etc. Levo's are not magical problem free hondas.
Out of 6 Levos in my group (all 2018), 1 is currently in warranty negotiation for new motor, 1 is seized, most likely will get warranty approved, awaiting new motor
After i posted the 1st message...my bike is currently in LBS for a seized motor. The clutch wont disengage for some reason.
So since its in for possible motor replacement, i told the LBS to solve the creak and update me on what they do
OMG I COULD KISS YOU. i dunno why it never occured to be to check those bolts....i tigthened everything else. u are right, all 3 were loose and spinning freely. in fact..the bolt to the leftmost...i cant tighten it...it just spins freely. but tightening the other 2 has stopped the creak...
Hey all,
Uploading a vid of my creak, hoping someone else had the same and solved it. Have gone tru the forum, and i think most likely its the motor mount rubbing against the side of the frame. So will send it in and get the sides greased.
Just seeing if anyone else has the same creak
Have...
i have the exact creak but not as pronounced. LBS actually replaced my CP under warranty, but that didnt solve the creak
Cleaning and lubing chain def helps...but nothing seems to get rid of it completely. for me, its only under uphill load. flat and stationary pedaling, no creak
Not the...
The lead Turbo Manager was on a SE Asia tour, so the local rep organized a ride with a bunch of the local levo/kenevo riders. Managed to have awesome chat with Dominik about all things ebike.
Long conversations, so stuff i remember
I asked if Spez was going the route of Zesty, smaller...
why would i want to strap a ugly aftermarket battery (which isnt available here, and takes up the space for my bottle) and leave a ugly gaping hole in my levo?
I love my levo...but sooner or later i would have to upgrade, i and would like my next levo to be sub 18kg if possible.....not the...
ezesty isnt available in my country, and when the local lappeire rep asked for available stock..the reply was...maybe dec 2019
i would stick with spez because its the only manufacturer with full support here. And i agree with OP, i would buy a Levo Air in a heartbeat.
My local trails do not...
its fine...5 levo's in my group, all wash with battery connected. its ip67 rated with the battery connected, you get in more trouble if you wash with the battery disconnected, cos water will get into the contacts
im at 1000+ km, wash it every week with a hose
Yes, cos if you disconnect the power cable, it loses the ip67 rated seal.
1000+km on my 18 levo, tru tropical mud and rain, i just hose it down after everyride with a hose
We normally ride ungroomed rooty/rocky trails full of erosion holes, cos it basically rains everyday. Trails are very narrow as trees/bushes grow extremely fast in the tropics.
This is a park in the capital of Malaysia. Trail dynamics are slightly different to uk/us..hikers tend to give way to...
Specialized in Malaysia held a event for riders to test the levo as well as participate in a few skills based events over the weekend. I joined with a mate and we won the enduro event on our levos...some pics of the event and vid on Malaysian riding conditions
Won an evoucher to spend on the...
The stock shock on the sworks was horrendous, harsh and forever bottoming out. The coil fixed all that, in fact, i dont think i can ever go back to a air shock after riding the last few months on the ttx.
My group has 4 levos, all upgraded to the ttx, and the one thing that suprised all of us...
