@Supratad Apologies for being slow off the mark. For some reason I wasn’t getting notifications for this thread.
The 800lb spring is 132mm length 52mm outer 40mm inner.
There's no other text on the spring apart from what is shown in the photo.
I also now have a 700lb SLS spring for sale too.
I just put an EXT Storia on as well and concur with the clicking valve noise and squishing. I quite like it tbh. Though the clicking does sounds like you’ve got a loose shock mounting bolt.
Well, I just got back from my first ride with the EXT. Its bloody lovely. I sessioned up and down Water Lane near Newlands Corner (Surrey Hills) which is quite a nice test with plenty of rocky ruts, loose stones etc. The setup out of the box was very good, but I opened up the high speed...
I just picked up my EXT Storia Lok V3 shock for my Levo SL. This is an EMTB-specific version, built to spec for me and my bike (nice service from EXT!). It replaces a DHX2 coil. Why the EXT? My LBS (Ace Bicycles who are indeed ace!) have a cabinet-full and swear by them, the reviews look really...
I have Renthal Fatbars in carbon, with their highest rise (which I find a lot more comfortable). I don’t find them too stiff at all. Very light and precise in fact.
I think she’ll keep up just fine when you hit the inclines. You might need to be gentle on the flats when she’ll be pedalling unassisted above 15.5mph or whatever it is, so possibly slower than you if you are rapid.
I was going Pike-Lyrik-Pike-Lyrik-Pike-Lyrik and thought sod-it, and got an Ohlins RXF36 coil. Nice but pricey.
SL, 92kg rider by the way. Also got a DHX2 on the back.
Interesting to watch that. I think there’s a lot of innovation to come in this area of combined motor/gearbox.
I’m surprised they went with a hard tail, as I’d have thought the big reduction of unsprung weight from the rear end (cassette, derailleur, big hub, cable, longer chain) would be worth...
Reporting back as promised on the Cascade link for my SL.
I decided to opt for a 700lb spring instead of the 650 on the DHX2. The 650 is borderline for my weight, and with the additional effect of the Cascade link, it makes it possible to go up to 700lb and retain the suppleness at the start of...
It’s not my feet - honest! I have pristine feet with no fungal issues.
It’s the shoes themselves. It’s like bacteria from the mud has got into the material of the shoes and can’t be got rid of. I’ll look at the Shimano ones.
I have a pair of Race Concepts EMTB flat pedal shoes.
Unfortunately, they stink like a rotting fox. They are really rancid.
Once they got wet and muddy, the stench set in and it won’t go away. I’ve washed them in the washing machine, frozen them, washed them again, sprayed them with stuff...
I have a fenix 6x and it syncs with the bike (Levo SL) to pull cadence, power, battery, mode etc as the ride records. Very clever indeed. It also has maps and can show trails on them which is cool. But fenixs (and Garmins in general) have quite a learning curve. But I know mine now and love it...
