What about the “mobile chip repair” people. They work on site (yours) and are pretty good from what I have heard.
Ask for a quote and see if the LBS’s insurance will accept it.
Thanks for sharing those settings Mike...I have the same bike and I am similar weight to you. I'm have changed my forks and damper settings since I got it but am going to check again and compare them to yours....yes I had a Cube before and this is great. Better than me !
Great pictures and looks a great place as well. I've got the same Whyte but have been really restricted with the lockdown as to where to ride. I'm a bit further south (Cheshire) but will definitley try and come up when we are back to reality.
Not sure how old your bike is but I wrote to Bosch who replied that sometimes the "operator" didn't stick them on properly and if I sent the letter to my LBS they would be able to get a new one under warranty..,it took about 2 weeks but arrived.
I have a Cube Reaction Pro 2020. I did have trouble with the headset bearings and found they were just a loose in a cages and not sealed. During last winter they failed completely and when my LBS dropped the forks a pile of rusty BB's fell out. They replaced it with sealed bearings top and...
+ 1 for the Mobi. Works well with hot water.
Spray. Muc Off Spray.
Just angle / deflect off any bearings or sensitive areas.
Works on riding kit and shoes as well.
I got my first eMTB Cube a year ago. Definitely go for tubeless. I did have several punctures early on but after advice on here only one tear
caused a puncture..
If you haven't got a compressor or an AirShot it can be difficult and the LBS maybe a good option. Also check chain wear. I didn't and...
France have now legislated against de-restriced eBikes.
1.Your bike is confiscated
2.Up to 1 year in prison ( 2 for a dealer)
3.30,000€ fine.
The French don't do things by halves !
I did mine last year. Cube Stereo Hybrid Pro 500 hardtail.
There was already a plastic conduit tube in place so just fished/ threaded the outer through that.
Just need to get the inner and outer right but it works well. G.
Hi kilham 5 Did you re-rout the cable or a dealer. Are they completely hidden now. I really like this bike but the exposed cable put me off. Some of the access trails I ride on are a bit overgrown at the moment and there are lots of grassy and brambly bits and I'm sure there would be an issue as...
Thanks Doomanic. Some sites I have looked at for new bikes refer to the motor just as Cruise but they are high end eMTB’s so they must be CX gen 4.
As I mentioned my current motor does say CX and I bought it as a 2020 gen 4, but when I got the printout diagnostic from the Bosch service sheet...
It does seem confusing My Cube has a Gen 4 CX but in the spec, and when it has had a dealer service printout it calls it a cruise.
The cruise in the Reise & Muller link is 63Nm but the cruise on this spec is 75Nm,
