I’ve just had my 1st puncture since going tubeless last year. Only fairly low speed on a canal path but a fairly large tear in the face of the tyre.
I was keeping close to home as per advice.
I ordered a new tyre as I had Maxxis High Roller ll’s 29 x 2.5 front and rear.

Something laminated in Carbon Fibre may do it. It would be easier to make a mould / pattern from timber or something machineable. Better than ally as well as all the cables and wires are under there and could get damaged or squashed.

I got my Bike Shop, where I bought the bike, to fit a new headset with sealed bearings as at the moment I ride in mud a lot the time and I couldn't see the replacements lasting long as there aren't any seals to the exposed bearings.
They fitted a Hope set top and a Maddison...
