I chose my bike because it has the same name as my two motorbikes, bugger all else between them if you ask me.
Having said that I would only buy a bike with a standard sized external battery as it's so handy being able to swap batteries mid ride, doubling the range, and it's no harder to carry...
I wouldn't worry about it. My battery is fully charged all the time as I always charge it after I ride it so it's ready to go next time. Its now nearly 3 years old and 2000 miles and I can still get 18 mile range on turbo which is similar to what it's always been.
Who knows, I get 18-20 miles in turbo out of my 500 battery and yesterday I did 33 miles using all of my battery and 3 bars of my wife's battery( so 2 bars left).
Those boots look just the job. I've been using goretex walking boots and they are easy to wash off and waterproof but not high enough and the the sole is very sketchy on pedals. I certainly wouldn't use them at a trail riding centre.
My last hope light still works after 10 years it's just a bit dim now as things have moved on. I bought a moon meteor but I doubt it will last 2 years, it has already had a few funny moments after less than a year.
My suntour aion forks made a constant knocking sound, it used to really annoy me. I was glad when they died at about a year and 9 months old. I thought they were total crap in every other way, super harsh, blow through all travel on little jumps. I replaced them with ohlins rxf coil forks and...
I have a Thomson and it still works after a year or two. A bit of wiggle, anodising has worn on the back and it eats cables. I'm trying a different lever because the Thomson one is shit.
It should say on the charger I would have thought.
Input 230v and ?amps or ?Watts.
Power(watts) =Volts x amps x power factor. I doubt it will have a power factor on there so just watts = volts x amps
As above although I'm hoping this winter an irregular dose of silicon grease will help.
Surprisingly prop shaft grease for boats mixers with water and washed out straight away.:poop:
If you want a cheap option I got a set of lightweight army goretex trousers that I wear with any old jacket. If you get warm they have zips on the sides
