There is this message on pedelecforum.de from someone that tried this Brose controller. The display and the walk-assist work but the buttons to change the mode have no effect.
You will need to route the cable to the motor, not sure if there is a hole in the frame for it?

Well, (without the light it's £50 less) it's not a "phone holder". It's a control unit, interfaced to the CAN bus of the bike, which communicate also to the phone for more features.
I have a Nyon on one of my bike and find it very useful, mainly for the map and navigation part. It also offer you the possibility to adjust each assist mode to your taste but I don't really use this.

Charge cycles are not equal. If you always charge a battery to 100% the degradation will be greater than with a charge up to 80% each time. The worst case is 0 to 100% each time.

You should not think too much about it.
Ideally it's better to not go too low and not charge too much, say 25-75%. But in practice not sure it will make much difference.
The only thing to really avoid is to "forget" for a few months an empty battery. If it goes below a minimum (self discharge)...
