Charging- So whats best is it a myth or fact to cycle charge these batteries, does charging the battery when its still 3 quarters charged count as a charge on the mission control app.

Is it best to let the battery get to 20% before a charge or keep it topped up ???

You should not think too much about it.

Ideally it's better to not go too low and not charge too much, say 25-75%. But in practice not sure it will make much difference.

The only thing to really avoid is to "forget" for a few months an empty battery. If it goes below a minimum (self discharge) it may never recover.

Li-Ion batteries don't have a memory effect, so it doesn't matter when and for long they are charged.

To give them the longest possible life, there are many different meanings out there. I follow these ones, given to me from my lbs and taken from the manual and from other hobbies including batteries:

- Don't charge them right after a ride, they need to "cool down" first (15-20 minutes is enough).
- Charge them at least every 3 months (don't forget them over winter).
- If you don't use them for a longer time, it's best to store them at around 70% of charge (it's said that stored at 100% the chemicals speed up the aging of the battery).
- For the first 2-3 charge cycles, discharge them completely and recharge to 100% (it's said there are chemicals included for storing, that have to vanish and that works best if you use the full 100% charge on the first cycles).
- Don't store them in the cold shed over winter, take them into the house/basement.
- Don't leave them sitting in direct sunlight or a heated up car for too long.
- Follow the general rules printed on the battery (no pinching, no dropping, etc.)

If you charge it 20% 5 times that’s one charge cycle.
It may be counted like this but in reality that's 5 charge cycles.
so it doesn't matter when and for long they are charged.
Charge cycles are not equal. If you always charge a battery to 100% the degradation will be greater than with a charge up to 80% each time. The worst case is 0 to 100% each time.

But in practice this should not refrain you to charge to 100% if you need this capacity. And as bike chargers don't offer any possibility to adjust the charge like dedicated lithium charger or electric cars the more convenient way is to charge to 100%.
