If you go Apple Watch get an app called WorkOutDoors, it syncs with Strava and Apple health but gives you mapping of ride, heart rate zones and much more.

I've not ridden the new motor but had the old one and moved to Bosch on my new Whyte E160.
I would not go back to Shimano after riding a Bosch.
Back brake on, pull bike over with bars to turn upside down.
Hold forks to turn back over till you can hold bars.
No lifting required as all the weight is supported by rear wheel.
Surprised no one has mentioned ViewRanger, I just plan my routes on it and allow others to download them for free.
Either use this tool on a phone or download the gpx file.
It tends to be my go to tool if I want to plan something or look for a route in the area.
I only use strava to track...

The Whyte E160 is a great ride, with the seat in the correct position you feel more sat in the bike.
It is more of an all mountain bike, but it happy to ride anywhere, I quite often just ride mine round the high peak lanes.
The motor is very powerful and with 12 speed will get up anything...
My first impression after 23 miles on a E160 running about 30% sag.
It felt like I had raised the seat higher, felt more on the bike rather than in the bike that I had with my old set up.
Stopped mid ride and lowered the seat a tad to get the position back.
