@steve_sordy I guess in our young years we are unlikely to do any extreme riding, although I ride in the Peaks I’d call some of my riding extreme cross country.
I think you would get a good price for the Focus, but currently unless you buy top of the range you wouldn’t find a good replacement...
You would change it for a Whyte E-160.
Long term keeper, bigger battery so no messing with a TEC pack, great ride.
Also its all standard Bosch so parts should be available long term, don’t regret changing my Focus.
Would something like this suit with the correct gearing?
It is electric and would seem to do the range.

Although mainly a roadie tool from strava I import my data into Veloviewer, only £10 a year and it allows me the track and compare my yearly mileage etc.

I’d maybe do a lower service for better bump compliance, mine had very little in and feel a lot better with the correct quantity in them.
great fork though with no flexing.
I do my own, most stuff is on YouTube, unless I really can't do it.
My bike is new, so for the fork it just needed an oil change to return the plushness, easy job.

I'd think more along the lines of the Whyte is UK based with standard Bosch parts with easy access, Cube are a large German company, that means any issues your parts or bike may have to be shipped back to Germany for repair.
Its happened to some of the focus guys, and I had to wait for weeks...
