I'm sorry to hear that the fork arrived damaged dude. Truth be told, that's not been my experience when I brought my NCM Moscow 5 years ago.
To answer your question, The Rockshox 35 Gold RL 120mm fork would be within your budget. Anything higher spec would be 'counterproductive'.
I don't...
Have you thought about the NCM Moscow+ 29?
Its a good hardtail emtb (hub motored). With provisions to attach trailers and racks.
You could build an ebike of course. Honestly, it's not as difficult as some suggest.
As for the maximum payload of the ebike, dont get to wrapped up with the...
You have to understand @El Topo, the innotrace controller was originally designed to push more power through the M620 motor (basically catering to those who feel that 30amp/1500wh/160nm of torque is weak), without the risk of overheating the controller/motor in the process.
Its difficult to...
Its been a while since I've swung a leg over a hub powered ebike. But I do remember that their are two types of hub motors
(Geared & Gearless Direct Drive).
Which type of motor are you expressing an interest in ascertaining the efficiency @michael.kozera ?
The firmware issue regarding the new Bafang motors still remains under review by Bafang.
I agree that the M510 has been somewhat of a let down in some circumstances. But they are looking into resolving specific characteristic issues raised by users.
Personally, this is one of the many...
Whilst I appreciate that I'm the OP/author, technically this thread has two authors.
The second author remains unclear. However, my goal was to create a single area online dedicated to the Dengfu E22 frames for others to peruse through and consider
I'd have no objections, should the second...
Figured I'd spread the word,
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/nukeproof-thru-axle-rear-12mm-1?sku=106031035
I can confirm that this axle works perfectly on both the E22 and E10.
The version to select is, 12x175x1.5) and uses a 6mm allen key.
Don't let the fact that the axle is 2mm longer than the stock...
That setup looks decent👍🏿
DVO Topaz and Suntour Durolux fork is a good combo (hell, I run the same fork now on my Levo HT in 160mm travel).
Not to mention, both DVO and Suntour suspension products are fairly easy to service for any home mechanic.
I'm still painting my frame (friggin labouring this is with sanding and coating, then sanding and coating etc 😅).
I'll spread the word once I've made significant progress and take pics 👍🏿
Ok, so I've been giving the battery aspect some thought and I've come up with two possible solutions which 'could' work, but I have yet to have tested
Technically speaking, one of these methods would only be applicable to the E22.
1. Range extender using the bottle cage - I'll need to liaise...
It's cool @Snotgobbler 😅
Truth be told, my E10 has been at FOD on a few occasions. And hasn't skipped a beat or caused issues.
But I will stipulate what I said in my video, "your decision to over-stroke the bike WILL void the warranty".
My second E10 (E10v2), will run a conventional 210x55...
So, I've been messing around with the Eggrider v2 display on my E22
At first, I thought some of the functions the display/app offered, would be overkill for EMTB. But I am truly impressed with the ability to examine rider data after each ride. Not to mention, it is the smallest display for...
Nice👍🏿
Keep us posted on your chain guide solution @bram.biesiekierski.
If you're satisfied that it performs without issue, spread the word on how others can make their own. Or, start mass production and make a little bit of money on the side (I'd buy one off you👍🏿).
Apologies for the delay @BonBond.
It looks like @CaptainBobt answered the question.
Shimano olives, work fine with the Meroco 4pot brakes.
Quite recently, I swapped the levers on my E22 with Shimano levers and noticed that the power had tremendously increased.
So I am a fan of the calipers, as...
As luck would have it, I have recently obtained a second locking mechanism to study in my spare time.
@Mabman and myself were discussing a while back different battery options, before we both sourced 52v batteries.
Mabman did explain earlier on in the thread, the different options available...
I can't remember where I saw it. But I know I've seen a custom battery used on a Dengfu E22 frame.
Can't remember what the spec of the battery was. But being as both a 48v & 52v already exist, it wouldn't surprise me if the battery was higher in voltage.
Although, it wouldn't be surprising to...
