The medium E22s should have a headtube length of 120mm'ish. The lower cup should be fully seated into the headtube. Just to be safe, please measure the headtube yourself @HIDrive. I have noticed discrepancies with certain geometry numbers on my E22 compared to the geometry chart.

It would be unfair/biased of me to suggest that the stock 44t 130bcd chainring/spider wont be as good compared to a lower teeth chainring. My preferences reflects my E22 build. But using a 104bcd spider/chainring still allows you to use up to a 44t chainring.
