Apologies for the delay @BonBond.
Yes, I've reduced my settings for the M620 motor.
These are my settings for profile 1 (street legal), screenshot using the Eggrider v2 app.
Basic Bafang Settings
Bafang Pedal Assist Settings
Bafang Throttle Settings (To be fair, I've not touched these...
I'm starting this thread in anticipation of a series of videos I'm currently editing.
In accordance with the moderators request, this thread is strictly about the servicing & repairs of the Bafang M600 motor. And should not be mistaken for either the M500 and M510. Certain components for the...
Apologies for the delay @Canmtbdude.
The E22 and E10 are similar in areas and different in areas.
Its difficult to put in words. But one example which I've noticed, would be when both are ran with 29er wheelsets.
For me, the E22 feels more like a dedicated 29er. Recognising that the bb height...
My E22 build so far

Your in the states aren't you HIDrive?
You could try Luna Cycles
https://lunacycle.com/replacement-x2-and-z1-derailleur-hanger/
Granted, they are a bit pricey. For us in the UK, They're around £7 - £10 through Aliexpress or other sites.
I've always been a fan of WTB. I run the WTB STI30s on both my E22 and E10 and they've held up well.
I'd be willing to give em a try after hearing your thoughts.
I'm definitely a fan of a 'no nonsense' wheelset 👍🏿
Depends.
Subject to the output I set the motor too, whether I have given the motor a mechanical advantage in terms of gearing, season and trail conditions etc.
Some motors can go for 1000-2000miles without issue. Some can go within 300miles.
For those who know me, you'll recognize that I'm no stranger to cracking open a motor. Indeed, I take great pride in assuring that any mtb/emtb/product I have invested my hard earned money on (especially in this day & age), is maintained and looked after to get the best/most life expectancy out...
I agree with @thaeber. Bafang motors are different in design (internally) compared to the mainstream brands of motors. This difference ultimately gives their motors a different characteristic.
And whilst I'll refrain from turning this into a "bafang vs everyone else" post. All I'll say is that...
The derailleur hanger attaches to the frame and forms part of the drop outs for the axle to secure in.
I haven't ripped mine off yet. But I do have spares.
The hanger is made from 661 alloy👍🏿
I think we need to add some perspective here, in an effort to address the issue.
For reference, the above is the E23. Built up by one of the members on the Dengfu Frame Facebook community.
This is a shot of the rear wheel of the bike however, pay close attention to the way the upper linkage is...
The speed sensor is externally mounted.
It attaches using the Philips head screw via the thread on the left chainstay.
You should also see a cable guide located at the bottom of the left chainstay, which you can attach the speed sensor cable with a zip tie.
