I already think that if they are as good as the Mezzers then they’ll be great 👍
Am thinking about acid-splash anodising the crowns though, obviously have too much time on my hands 🤣

My Dorado Pro's eventually arrived yesterday, were shipped from Germany by dhl & some reason turned around and returned to sender - believe by customs 🤷♂️
second try at shipping worked but I got caught for vat & import so the forks worked out £1200 (~£900 & vat & import:cry:)
I must admit to...
I thought safety equipment was vat exempt??
I've bought a good few things from europe via ebay & direct, some purchases drop below the tax threshold and some have been missed 😜
ebay sometimes uses their 'global shipping policy' that sorts duties as part of the sale / postage price if the seller...
I use a split / slotted casette tool to loosen the airshaft nut, couldn't get my unmodified casette tool to fit🤷♂️
as to full travel, if I remember I've not noticed binding or stiffness with my Mezzer's:unsure:

I borrowed an Ohlins TX22m coil damper in 230 x 65mm (from my mrs's) and ftted it on my alloy Rail5 - medium frame.
used the origonal Trek mount hardware & turned the damper shaft 90* to position the...
Bought a Manitou Mara for mrs.Zeds Orbea Rise, she’s not ridden it this year (since the battery died in December and was slowly replaced through warranty - Orbea being slow not the shop that handled the repair!) and when she did there were complaints about the fox suspension as factory fitted*...
Brill 🤣 🤣 🤣
I refuse to accept how much we've spent in the last ~18 months since diverting down the Emtb path, would buy a new car (but we have a great collection of old junkers like the 1987 mk2 golf tdi & mk1 Mx5's  )
it does involve 2 new eeeeb's each for me & mrs....🤭
Rich.
go on, tell us what:unsure:
I thought about Maven's.......
Bought Maven's (silver as what shop had in stock & had discount)
would buy again:cool:
I've happily rode with Sram's code rsc but the Maven is in a different league(y)
Rich.
you need to sit on a few sizes. (y)
I have a Trek Rail5 in Medium - bought after consulting Trek's sizing charts and as I'm on the border of medium & large erred on the smaller (medium) size....
it always felt cramped, the handlebars seemed too close to my knees and I felt like I was riding...
the basic chassis is identical between Expert & Pro, the only actual differences are for wheelsize (swap lowers to jump from one to other) and I blieve the csu / stantions hold the difference for offset
as to internals interchangability, the iva & irt are a 'one-out / one-in'...
just recieved a new tyre pump, and as we know seating tubeless tyres is sometimes great fun....
I've bought one of Lezyne's Digital Pressure Over Drive Pumps because I wanted one🤭
https://ride.lezyne.com/products/digital-pressure-overdrive
not the cheapest @ £157.50 (ebay) but has a...
^^THIS
Aluminium expands wonderfully when warm, heat will break Locktite....
heat then spray with wd type stuff as it'll soak in the threads - then fit tool and use precussive maintanance (hammer) to shock it loose🤞
Hopefully😜
Rich.
Tyres?
I went from a Rail5 to a Torque:ON, first ride was interesting as the rear grip was dubious.......
replaced the Maxis with Conti Kriptotal and all was good (y)
^ NOT shittin on Maxis but where I ride (Bpw mostly) the Conti's really shine:cool:
Rich.
have had the update AND then bought an SM-PCE02 interface to read faultcodes / update & play :p
Love the EP801 & the 'new' overrun is also good, now waiting for Shimano & Sram to sort their shit so my wireless derailer can have autoshift:unsure:
as to Dorado travel, I'll look into it when it...
