I did a lot of research and ended up on this one, i highly recommend it.
2-20nm in 0.1 increments. Feels great/not cheap. I think it will last a long time.
I like that it goes low and high, so it does nearly all the bolts on an EMTB including your suspension pivots...
Yes they will both work, however the Shimano will work better. The Shimano has a specially shaped chain that interacts in a certain way with the specially shaped ramps on the cassette teeth. Using a Shimano chain will also make the casettee and chain last longer before they need replacing. If I...
The wheel size setting does not change the cut-off speed of the motor.
Bosch allowed end users to adjust the setting themselves on the Kiox. It changes nothing in regards to the cut-off speed.
If it did work, then all bosch certified LBS would be able to derestrict all bosch ebikes and thats...
Just wondering, when i am on the 4 biggest sprockets i get a bit more noise from the bottom jockey wheel then in the medium/smallest sized sprockets.
Is this normal?
Yeah nah, theres no way ill be doing that Philippe1.
Just contact the place of purchase to have the manufacturer send out the correct part, or get a refund because the item is not fit for purpose (and is actually a danger, chain suck can throw you over the handlebars, so its pretty dodgy that...
Hmm seems like a pretty generic narrow wide chainring. Can't find anything on it.. My guess based on looking at the teeth in your pic is that its probably not hyperglide+ tooth profile. I would consider replacing the chainring and chain. Go to your dealer and show them the problem, tell them...

It's normal for the black to wear away at the contact points on all chainrings. Obviously its going to show less wear if it had the proper chain/chainring combo and was making contact in the right spots though..
Interesting that your chainring has no written markings Zimmerframe maybe you could...
Yes, you wont find much information on the g4 chainring its an OEM product - only supplied direct from FSA to manufacturers. I spoke to FSA directly, they looked up the part number and advised me specifically that the g4 megatooth chainring is NOT compatible with 12 speed shimano chain, and IS...

Anyone buying a Thron with shimano 12 speed cassette, make sure that the chainring has 'SH12 megatooth' printed on the front. There are a lot of Throns out there with 11 speed chainring (just 'megatooth' without SH12). My guess is because of coronavirus stock issues they decided to use the wrong...
I am looking to replace the 34t chainring on my Thron with 36T.
Has anyone done this? Clearance looks pretty tight for the chainstay, not sure if it will fit.
I was just wondering, if its possible to say buy a CX gen 4 motor directly from Bosch? Or maybe the bike manufacturer (Focus)?
For example, if the bike is out of warranty and the motor fails, do i have any recourse at all? Or is the bike suddenly useless?
Thanks
Not on your own. You will need to take the bike to any bike shop that has the bosch ebike software. I am surprised that a mail order bike came with this enabled. Maybe i am wrong and they come out of the factory like that. But regardless, you will have to find a bike shop that works on bosch...
