I've got a local distributor getting some stock in the next couple of weeks. I am switching over to the 11 speed XT linkglide groupset. So i'll be going from 10-51 hyperglide+ 12 speed to 11-50 linkglide 11 speed.
I'm also planning to swap out my 3-pawl dt swiss hubs to 36t ratchet with the...
I find them really jarring, i'd rather not experience them if i dont have to. I am always trying my best to watch my line and time my pedals but im not always succesful. I want to challenge myself but im not going to handicap myself/put myself and my bike in possible harms way just to add...
Not much of a cadence increase, and thats mainly just at the extreme end when on fire roads trying to hit max speed on the smallest cog
Just check out Robs short crank video it shows it, and he was using 152.5mm cranks! I think 155 is probably fine for most people if pedal strikes are a big...
From all the reading of many peoples accounts on fb groups, on here etc, almost everyone seems to say that their experience with crank levels down to around 150/155 have basically stopped almost all pedal/crank strikes and felt almost no difference.
Do you really think someone like Hope would...
My Kiox reboots most times when i connect it to my wahoo tickr heart rate monitor, if it decides to connect at all..
Thinking of just not using my kiox for any bluetooth stuff anymore, its just so unrealiable.
I really, really recommend the Ergon SM E-Mountain Core Prime. It's the most comfortable saddle i've tried by far, and it's made specifically for EMTBs. Specifically the 'core prime', not the 'pro' or 'sport'. The Core Prime is a foam material used as a layer that moves with your body so you...
Could go 155mm on these Hope E-bike cranks, bit exxy tho. They are built from the ground up with pedal strikes in mind, thus they have very small amount of crank past the actual spindle. So you could actually be getting even more then 10mm reduction by swapping to these...
It appears that my samsung galaxy s10 may be glitching when interacting with the Kiox. It just keeps going back and forward. I've tried turning off battery optimizer for the app on the phone, setting it to full location permission always, set to never sleep mode.. Nothing seems to work.
But if...
So i just updated my kiox via the bosch app to the latest version, and now i noticed im getting a little warning icon in the bottom left of all pages, thats showing this icon on the status page and im not sure what it represents?
I notice that it keeps switching between the exclamation point...
Get this one 100%
relatively cheap compared to others out there, strong, good adjustment. It lifts my rear tire but just leaves the front tire on the ground (at lowest height adjustment). Feels solid, bike doesnt wobble around.

Would like to know if the new firmware has any other changes other then the new mode. The bosch software does show the changelog when the update is done.
Damn there must be so many choices of firmware presented in the bosch upgrade software..
Many combinations
75 or 85nm
short crank or long...

My guess is they will follow suite like EMTB mode and have it available as an optional firmware. So if the update includes any other changes along side it you could probably upgrade to that firmware but with keeping the old tour mode.
Well the only one i can think of is cassette which is 40nm.
From what i've read online, it seems most people don't use a torque wrench for the cassette, just do it 'damn tight' lol.
I plan on asking my LBS if they have a 40nm torque wrench that i could try use to just get an idea of how much...
