With the Pro version, you don't need a username and password, not even a loginbypass to update the firmware.
But with username and password or loginbypass you can do the following:
- Set the speed of each level as you like.
- Set the maximum current allowed to be drawn for each level. This...
There is a new python script. Download it and BESST Pro will be fully functional.
However, the new feature in the Pro version is that the Firmware can be updated without a username and password.
- Engine noise is audible while riding the bike but I find it quite tolerable.
- Engine versions available for sale are: 36V, 43V and 48V. I didn't find a special 52V version.
You can always reprogram the controller to change the voltage by installing a different firmware.
- As far as I know...
Honestly, I did not notice that difference, as before when pedaling at a low cadence, the engine does not work.
In my opinion, this is what Bafang is trying to do to reduce power consumption to get longer battery life.
Today I tried the following new firmware, the last firmware posted by @Rob Rides EMTB
(CRX10NC4814i101003.0-28-2230-boot3.0-20220628153910.bin)
In fact, I did not notice any difference between it and the firmware we were using before...
Seems to be the best M510 firmware so far, but I'm still afraid to try it with a 48V battery. 😨
So I'm thinking of upgrading my battery to 52V or buying a new 52V battery. 🤔
The cable inside the upper circle for the front light and in the lower circle for the rear light.
This way you can get the power of the bike battery to power the lights.
For me the speed is not important 25 km/h is enough and safe but I care about the engine power when riding steep hills I still want more power.
I'm waiting for a 15A or 16A firmware update from Bafang.
Maximum power I got on level 5 according to the following battery status:
30% 690W
25% 680W
22% 610W
13% 390W
Motor: Bafang M510
Firmware version: CRX10NC4814i101003-1-cs-28-2230-boot3-0-20220517161110-48v-M510
Today the bike, screen and motor suddenly turned off more than ten times. One time the bike didn't run at all for ten minutes Although all cables are connected. In the end everything worked again normally.
I couldn't identify the problem. Have you had similar problem?
