Half bought half made, I wanted to try some magnetic pedals but didn't want to spend the extortionate price incase I don't get on with them at all, so I made some to test the waters.
Yet to try them but they seem to work off the bike, I just need to remove the pin Infront of the magnet as it can hold the plate off if it's in the wrong position, other than that I'm hopeful they will give a good indication if I'll like magnetic pedals or not.

What a great idea, i'd also like to try them but not 100% convinced?
I used to love being clipped in for the old XC days but not for what I ride nowadays, I always though this would be a good compromise.

Surely can't have started with the same number of links? :confused:
The new 126 link chain is on the right, original 118 link chain on the left.
I hung them up next to each other to check out the difference before I removed the extra links.
The original chain was shite without a doubt as I kept it clean and lubed the whole time.
