Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.
Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.
We advise members great caution. EMTB Forums accepts no liability for any content or advice given here.
Posted the new version to Google Play. Let me know when you check itNice, I will try it and will let you know if it works. Thanks!
It works for me. I do not understand what can cause the process to stuck at the 0 step.I have just tried but it gets stuck on 0% when trying to update:
It's uploaded for iOS, but it takes 1-2 days to approve the new version by Apple...Can you upload an iOS version as well? I bought both some time ago
You have a physical/electrical problem with the speed sensor. It has nothing to do with the settings of your bike.Recently had a wheel true - spoke tension - replaced cassette..... the WO11 appears?
Thank you vadll validating a electrical problem a result of the speed sensor...... I will research for the replacement speed sensor to the reinstall. You have a physical/electrical problem with the speed sensor. It has nothing to do with the settings of your bike

Not realising the magnetic was offset l then turn on STU app for clues.... tapped on Circumference..... changing the selection then back to Custom.
As a result later reading on possible causes the misaligned magnet was to the cause WO11....
I realigned magnet.... All powered up which is pleasing... only now restricted back to the limit?
Would appreciate input, a way to be reconfigured please.
Thank you.

Hi KuRi I read you reported some bad vibrations after having modified original Rise power parameters. Can you tell me more about, problem still present? Do you think it’s to do with too much power allowed?Mmm, I just tested this on emax on my orbea rise and they were changed, and it did make a difference. After changing these params the new values appeared also on the stunlocker app (250,350,500W).
However when setting to 500W and 85nm the motor were doing some bad vibrations when battery < 30%.
I don't know how they did it but I know you are a very experienced developer with shimano motors so I trust your opinion a lot... Let me know if you need some screenshots. Thanks!
thank youHi! Yes, after some more testing, it is all battery related. There is too much drain from the motor when >350W. That's why Orbea limited boost setting to 350W.
When the battery is full, you can use 400W-450W without problems, but as you reach 50% or less you start noticing some vibrations.
I have set up the boost setting to 400W and can be used for the whole range of battery with only some slight vibrations when <20% battery.
Hope this helps!
The downgrade firmware normally have a file name larger than existing firmware. It is typically 5.0.2 on the file name but is actually 4.0.2 firmware and hence the system things it is upgrading not downgrading. You should typically delete all the files from the FW folder and replace only with the 2 files that you need to downgrade. So I just got an Orbea Rise H10 but i upgraded fw to latest 4.1.8 by accident. I have copied the 2 files to the android fw folder, I tried to remove all files and just keep these 2 files and also just copied them with all other files, but it will not give me option to downgrade the software FW, it just stays on update page with no option to downgrade. Suggestions?
I tried that. It is not prompting to update firmware. The downgrade firmware normally have a file name larger than existing firmware. Where can I get older version?I am not sure about downgrading but that could mean that it will detect if the motor output (in W) or torque has not the default values also...
Edited: Yes, it has been confirmed that you cannot downgrade (yet) with the latest e-tube app. You have to install an old version.
Do you think if we default the bike in st unlocker then use Shimano to downgrade?Where can I get older version?
Show a screenshot where we can see files which you copied for downgradeI tried that. It is not prompting to update firmware.
This folder MUST have many other files. It looks like you delete all files before or you created that folder by yourself. Try to use recommended file browsing Apps and copy FW files using a phone
