I'll assume you're using profile 1 looking at the travel range figure?
No that’s in profile 2, however I have noticed that it’s very dependent on what you are doing when it updates (when battery drops 1%) as if you are cruising on a flat at above 16mph it reports that you have a bigger range than if you are cranking up a hill.

Is profile 1 more powerful than 2? or can you adjust each to custom settings? so basically it can give you 6 modes per say...

It's great if you have a regular route or distance , I've basically upped eco setting a touch in profile 2 and find I can do the majority of the route in eco and get back with just around 30 % battery left over a 35 mile route , which gives me the option of a bit of boost if I get tired towards the end . Ok it's hardly a challenging route , dictated by lockdown, but I keep my heart rate up so I'm getting a workout . I've found eco is stronger than you think , riding into head wind in eco basically cancels out the wind , which would often stop me going out , I'd rather ride up hill than battle into wind . Cadence I've found is the key to this motor , keep it spinning and you really feel the benefit from it .
Such a versatile motor , you can just set it for how your feeling within the app .

Two rides in on my Large M10 now and I'm extremely happy with it. Couple of minor upgrades (210mm OneUp dropper, DHR2 rear tyre, Shorty front, RRP Proguard, Specialized Power Arc saddle, XT ice tech rotors 203 front & 180 rear). First ride was 4000ft+ of steep up/down loam with a bunch of Levos and Rails, it kept up ok in profile 2 trail with some boost on steep climbs and the battery held out. Finished the ride with not a huge amount less than the full fats but did have to put a little more work in. Today I went out for a solo lunch hour blast in boost the whole time and still had 3 of 5 bars battery when I finished.

What I like is that it handles almost identically to my old bike - easy to move around from line to line, jumps off anything and just generally a huge laugh to muck about on - loads of fun!!

I am tempted by one and can get them on a decent deal, but would like to slacken it out a touch with an angleset to something I personally prefer.

Seems to sit on the carbon to me. I think at 160mm travel and 75° it wouldn’t really need changing, certainly haven’t noticed it being terrible going from 74° on my old bike to 75.5° on the Rise, more grip on the front if anything!

Maybe 9point8 will come with something that fits? Slack-R is designed for integrated headsets.

Are the rotors centerlock or 6 bolt? I want to upgrade mine when the bike comes in. Also why not 203 for front and back? Thanks

I got my 203mm RT86 from chain reaction last week. I think Amazon also had them at the time.

I went 180 rear to save an extra mount and keep it a bit cleaner. XT brakes are supposed to be pretty fade resistant, especially with the ice tech rotors.

Right. They are supposed to come stock on the bike from what I read, but the parts shortage prevents this. Galfer and SRAM must know something about producing parts that Shimano isn’t aware of.

Ah OK. I have mine in profile 2 and the range always shows as 106 when I switch on with a full battery??

I'm going to give a Galfer 203mm rotor a shot in the front. Will report results. I've run their rotors and pads successfully on my KTM 350.

Quick update:

On my Rise LTD today (internal 360 WH battery only), I did a 13 mile ride today on very technical terrain, with 1600 feet of climbing, and finished with 80% of my battery remaining. I think that's pretty insanely good. I did ride in "OFF" a good bit (flats and climbs), "ECO" a good bit, and "TRAIL" a tiny bit. I got a good workout. There's NO WAY I could have ridden my Pivot Shuttle in OFF on these trails. The 11 pound weight difference is very noticeable. I think the design of the Rise is perfect for a reasonably fit person who wants an eMTB as a "range extender" to ride longer and faster or to add another day or two a week.

The only remaining issue I have is a front brake (XTR 4 piston/M-9120) that won't stop squealing. De-glazed pads and rotors, cleaned them in alcohol, still there. I'm going to swap the pads out for new ones and put a 203mm Galfer rotor on.

Been spot on , I had initial issues with the brakes squeeking and not feeling great but a good clean and rough up sorted that
