Any info or rumor when the 2025 Wild prices and specs are launched?

What will be new? Bosch Gen5?

And probably 600Wh battery? As the new 800Wh will be longer than current 750Wh.
600Wh would be ok because weight saving, on current model I would choose 625 battery anyway.

Truthfully I’m not sure about the batteries yet. I think we’ll know more about the 2025 bike in the coming weeks.

That would make me skeptical of the light eMTB market. A 600Wh battery and a weight around 20kg would suit my needs perfectly.

Such a shame... So only the top version comes with T-Type, and the rest is fitted with Shimano...

pretty sure I read both the new batteries have the same form factor (so manf. can swap between the at assembly easily)
I believe the 800Wh battery is slightly wider...

I’m sure you could get the new carbon Wild with the new 600wh battery down to 46-47lbs ready to ride with solid components.
This is my expectation and I may be a buyer if it comes true. Other dominoes that need to fall for a real SL killer would be drag and motor whine.

I was hoping to see MX wheels. I noticed many of the builds also still spec the old motor and battery, so not sure how accurate the kit details are.

I don’t know about motor whine, but the new system is supposedly much quieter with hardly any rattling.

There will be an available link to let you run a mullet setup, but as far as I know the bikes will come as a full 29er.

There is also ST models with 150mm fork, ST=short travel? Unfortunately only alu versions, and quite low specs, RS Psylo and Fox AWL forks. With carbon frame and 600Wh battery the ST could be my choice.

really nice bike. I would go for the M-Team with 600Wh accu und Fox Transfer Post. But what a shame, only Shimano drivetrain available…

With the 750 battery still being an option, does this mean that the new batteries are cross compatible, but only with the 600, as the 800 is too fat.? I read somewhere that they weren't.

if its using the old batteries the it feels like an 0.5 revision - weight presumably be the same as last year bar 100g for the motor? the new 800 battery would have shaved of another 500g

would like to see a real world weight for this vs the Rise now

I did not found the 800 so, but there is a bundled mullet option!

Might be wrong but it still reference the bosch motor as BDU3840, which is the gen4 if I am not mistaken.

Edit: must be the new one looking at the fixation of the motor.

Mullet or straight 29 seems to be through a specific parts, I wonder if it would be possible to buy the parts if you want to change depending on what you do.

Still 170/170 is really good in my opinion, the WILD M-TEAM in carbon raw / red is gorgeous.

Your Orbea dealer will be able to order the links at some point, they list both the mullet link and the 29er link in the spare parts section.

Ikr, looked first thing this morning for pricing. Transmission on the LTD only sure is a kick in the balls.

The bikes so far have been a bit of a let down expect for the Crestline. Guess I'll be waiting another year or two for the new Yeti or Bullit before I purchase a new bike.

Two things I was hoping to see with the 2025 Wild, no more headset cable routing and I was really hoping they would use the 800wh battery.
