My Shin Hurts

I was riding very fast today and on three times my front tire through up rocks right into my Shin

Lot's of threads about limb protection but consider something like https://g-form.com/mountain-bike-knee-shin-guards . I just started wearing and so far so good. Don't even notice them while riding. They also make shin-only and there's lots of other brands out there.

Ouch! I solved this problem at Salvation Army where I was looking for tools and saw some kids size AYSO soccer shinguards and kneepads. They were so light weight and only six dollars for the both of them so I picked them up on a whim. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight and breathable in our heat here in Hawaii and nothing ever bothers my legs now. The kneepads sit right on top of the shinguards almost seamlessly. Something to consider. Most of the mountain bike kneepads are too hot and don't breathe well enough for our heat and these were the perfect solution. All of my riding buddies are now looking for them too.

After suffering a similar experience a few years ago I wear these on every ride.
Very cheap but very good at protecting your shins and also has some ankle protection.
