It can’t move as it’s already tight fitting but the fabric being stretchy allows for it without being too tight. Wonder if a bladder would fit in the back maybe, never explored that option, would look weird though having the hunch back look however
A bladder fits. I found it felt like it pulled the shirt if I put more than about 1.5 litres in though. I suspect the larger the person/shirt, the more you could get away with putting in the bladder.

anyone tried any of these look breathable and good coverage

whilst we’re here these are meant to be good

Yes. Search the forum for the shorts, I and others have them. Have some 4.0's on order.

The 3.0's are the best value. The 4.0's are the same but with a chamois. The 5.0's have no chamois but have a tiny foam pad for coccyx protection - so a 3.0 with a tiny foam pad. You can sometimes find the 3.0's for about half the price of the 5.0's.

They're the best armoured shorts I've found so far. I keep looking and trying others, but so far they've all been crap.

For the tops. I've had them all except for the Stealth and gave them all away. I like the leatt gear and the way it's made, but for me none of the tops gave a good combination of protection/range of protection to weight/comfort/temperature. I think the hybrid was the only one I reviewed. Don't get me wrong, they're all good and generally use nice materiel's, they were all just lacking one way or another for what I was looking for as the ideal body protection. IE, not enough coverage, too short a back, compromised chest - depending on the model.

I suspect if I bought them all again now, I'd be less hard on them as I've come to accept more and more that all the armours are compromised. I think the Leatt's disappointed me the most as I had the highest expectations from them.

Haha oh the Seahawk is my inflatable dingy to help me get over the channel to come hit you up on a few trails my friend! Should get my bike over no probs....I see intex boats coming over the channel weekly! I bet they won’t stop me going the other way!

The medium was really tight to get on but felt okay once on, the large still has tightness, in a 39 chest, 6ft, 85kg and it could do with being an inch or two longer tbh....the back is short 1-2 inches off my backside unless I shuffle it down! I’d rather it be your way and maybe longer than too short, it might be perfect for you tbh, check the sizing guide https://www.scott-sports.com/gb/en/...ir-pro-jacket-protector?article=2784621001009

Ps, the belt is detachable via Velcro strap, it’s an external adjustable band not sure what for but goes on the outside.

The CE2 pads are way better, miles more breathable too! When inserted they feel closer towards the Forcefield level without the bucket effect, perfect!

I noticed CE2 since it’s thicker it’s more rigid, like the CE1 Scott elbow ‘flops’ if I hold it, the CE2 doesn’t and this is exactly why the racer feels nice, but it’s only because the armour is so flimsy! It’s almost like Racer armour is 0.5 CE....but with the CE1 in there it has some of that lovely Racer feel about it, nothing will beat Racer for comfort but it’s only because of the flappy thin armour that isn’t even full since it has cuts in it.

I’d rather have protection trading off the comfort but be comfortable in something breathable, this is where that search ends :).

I like the 7855 but if it’s anything like the Demon it would drive me nuts with the heat/sweaty stuff going on and that lack of a zip hmmmm

CE2 is generally just thicker, not wider or longer, that’s just optional. Here the back is thicker and sizing just longer.

On the pads, it’s interesting as if I measured it wouldn’t be far apart but they wrap around the muscle so much more, I feel protected with them not just supplemental protection as a better than nowt approach

Hi. I'm new here. I also have the Scott Sofcon Air Pro and I love it.
I had a hard crash and now I have to wear neck brace.
Has anyone tried a Neatt neck brace wearing the Scott Sofcon Air Pro jacket?

Big thanks

I did it. And the Leatt neck brace fits perfect with the Scott Sofcon Air Pro body protection.
