it won't ran 205x60, already advice them to make 205 rearshock version but always said it will break the frame :D
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
When you are a manufacturer who wants to do a good job in after-sales, you know how important it is to be conservative.
At the just-concluded China cycle 2023, we found two manufacturers who produced in a radical way. In order to pursue light weight, several frames were completely unqualified in terms of design and workmanship,
Because they are ready to accept it, (the repair rate is less than 20%) anyway, the domestic freight is cheap; but the ultra-light frame can attract more than double the sales.

In Eurobike 2023 you can find it again, also in lightcarbon booth.

Hello Jim, it seems your website is having an error? How do I place an order for this? Also, can this run mullet wheels? How about 27.5 both front and rear?

About the DIY battery, lots of peoples want the bigger battery, 720wh, 840wh, 960wh, the more the better,
but please note,
1. This is an electric assist bicycle, electric energy is only auxiliary and should not be the main force, Use your feet to move the pedals, not just sit there.
2. We talked with the bafang designers, they not suggest the bigger battery more than 500wh for M820 motor, That is, the full electric mode for two hours; high current output for a long time may cause the motor to overheat, which involves the effective conversion of energy of a motor, and they are still being resolved.
3. some info about BF F014, the infomations are old version, the newest version only change the battery mount.

I am also waiting for size L and I am quite excited about it. But of course I am also waiting for updated 410wh battery, which could be delayed sadly...

Same here :(
I’ve started looking at spot welder and tutorials on how to build diy battery.
If it’s delayed for one or two weeks it’s okay, but if it’s longer I will go into DIY

I am just wondering if it would be possible to update frame to suit the new type of the speed sensor. The one that m820 motor is supplied with, so we can use brake disc magnet instead of spoke magnet.

Yeah, spoke magnet aren’t very reliable…

I've found a SR Suntour unair quite cheap for the rear shock, it's very linear, which is good for this frame.
Now I see this nice discount on this coil shock : DVO Jade Coil Metric Trunnion Amortisseur arrière 185x55mm | Bikester.fr
I have no idea however if it's a good shock or not... I think it could be better than my cheap suntour. Anyone knows this one?
I have purchased the same DVO shock for my build, the guys I ride with rate this shock, they ride grade 5 all day long and are very particular on suspension, one of them used to have his own suspension service business.
I have purchased a Fox factory 38 up front, currently 160mm travel but have a 180mm air cartage on order.
Can't wait for the frame delivery. :)

Wow fox 38 180!
That’s a lot :D
I read some reviews and I think it might be a bit overkill for my riding!

Update from Jim, size L is planned for 10th, but it will also probably be on the 20th of June, because of feedbacks from size M, they need to change a bolt linking front and rear triangle. They might not receive the bolt for the 10th of June…
And, no feedback from Bafang for the BFT014 neither, it’s getting complicated to wait, specifically when your other bike is an old shitty bike!

Thx for update. For sure waiting sux, but I prefer waiting, to receiving frame, that is not fit for purpose. 😃

Luckily , I really like the bike I have, but it doesn't have a motor. And now that it is getting hot, it is really limiting how much climbing/laps I am wiling to do on the local trails, before I run out of water and time. 😃

Finally received my DVO Jade, I guess it's the end of the 18.1kg build :D
Still hope to be under 19kg, when the free will finally arrive
