Back to the Levo Generation Maybe this year.
Strange but I often buy a bike for the colour .... So hoping that there will be an all murdered out black edition like my current Gen 3 . Was the only reason I went Expert and not pro ... did not like the colour and find Kashima rather vulgar.

Is that not where Forbidden will be coming in? I think there will a few "Enduro" brands running the DJI and good for them. Its seems like a brilliant system. And more choice the better for the industry.

The Edruid will be 140/150 or 150/160 and will debut this year (actually next month).
The Edreadnought will be 160/170 or 170/180 but will debut next year only.

Back to the Levo, it's a real miss imo that it will be only offered in 150 rear. Don't understand why not offer 160-170 rear ...

The forum moderator made a post (Post #1,662) that hinted that there was a Gen4 and a Gen 4B. I feel like they know something we don't. Maybe just means carbon/alloy but could also mean long/short travel. I know other posters have said info they have heard only suggests a 150/160 bike but who knows.

Presumably because the Kenevo didn’t sell as well as the Levo? And because no matter how heroic we think we are, 150 works well for most riders?

You’d be surprised if you actually tried. I weigh 100kg also, and ride chunky DH trails with decent drops to flat and it’s been flawless so far. Just add a burlier shock, fork and cranks. It smashes.

It’s a good thing the bike is so cheap…. You forgot stem and tires.

Yeah, I assume it didn't sell well. But it was offered only in alloy and 27.5", which, in my opinion, is one reason it didn't sell well.

Yeah, my Levo works well for me. But when I'm on my downhill bike, the feeling is totally different. I can mess up much more on the DH bike than on the Levo and still be fine. Also, the DH bike offers another level of comfort, which is one of the reasons I'd like to have more travel on my Levo.

Traded my Levo in for a Kenevo and I never looked back. 27.5 plus tires rule on e bikes.

I met back with the specialized guys again today. The bikes are all back from Madeira and are been made ready to ship to Spain for the dealer event. Then the bikes come back to the Netherlands and then these go out to the dealers, also initial stock goes out(that’s the logistics part that we’re working with them on) I think the April release date is purely built around the need to get the bikes out there.

In other news I didn’t wait, I pulled the trigger last week on this baby, this was already the most I’ve spent on anything other than a car or a house and I just didn’t want to buy an s-works. Plus I really prefer the way the battery is fitted on the old levo and the Vala.

I think he could have, based on his visits to the Specialized HQ:

I don’t want to give to much away as the guys at Spec were really good and it was so nice of them to let me take a really good look at the new bike.
