and also think a beeeeg ask Is to keep the S-Works stickers or Specialized to a bare minimum again as seen on the 2025 epic 8 evo and stumpy 15 only sticker is on Top tube very down toned and on the seat tube at the back

So much this! i got a s works stumpy and i hate the S-WORKS graphic down side. Much prefer the top tube subtle ones

Think I'll wait for at least 1.6kWh battery......

"Stranded: The 800Wh Betrayal"

Dave had one goal: conquer the trails. With his brand-new Amflow and a beefy 800Wh battery, he was ready to leave his mortal legs behind and embrace pure, electrified dominance over nature.

“This baby can do at least 30 miles of rugged terrain,” he told his buddies, who were already questioning his life choices.

The Ascent of Overconfidence

The ride started beautifully. Turbo mode engaged. Rocks? Irrelevant. Steep inclines? Child’s play. He blasted past struggling hikers, throwing out a casual “should’ve brought an eBike, losers” as he zoomed by.

By mile five, he felt like a god.
By mile ten, he was unstoppable.
By mile twelve, the battery was at 14%.

Huh.

He squinted at the display, which now read: “Hope you trained for this.”

The Descent into Suffering

At mile thirteen, Turbo mode died.

At mile fourteen, Eco mode gave up.

At mile fifteen, Dave was left with nothing but a 48lb deadweight of shame between his legs and a six-mile uphill slog back to civilization.

The hikers he had mocked earlier passed him, offering pitying glances and granola bars. Somewhere in the distance, a crow cawed—probably laughing.

The Aftermath

By the time he made it back to the trailhead, his soul had left his body. His legs were ruined, his pride was shattered, and the only thing more dead than his battery was his spirit.

As he collapsed next to his car, he stared at his Amflow and whispered the only words that made sense:

“You left me for dead.”

Wondering how much this Levo 4 delay has cost Specialized? This whole thing (albeit maybe Amflow threw a monkey wrench into this) has been nothing short of a disaster for sales. How many have chosen another brand and maybe loving the new Bosch motor and have converted and loyal to a new brand... I actually love my gen 3 sworks with the Cascade link, so I'm perfectly happy, but Geez, this has not been managed well at all!

You can throw in the Demo & Enduro in that analysis too, products are so old that people are forced to move away from Specialized even if they want to be loyal.

Seems like there's no hurry to update their bikes right now even if they're losing sales.

Unless we have the sales data, we don’t know, but I’m guessing Specialized do.

They still have the Gen3 Levo and SL2 out there, they’re still selling presumably otherwise there’d be fire sales aplenty but I’ve only seen reductions on the S-Works models and S or XL versions of some other models, here in the U.K. anyway.

The discounts on offer seem no better than many other e-bike brands too.

Don’t forget, they also have a huge non e-bike sales side, along with accessories etc, we sometimes forget that there’s more to biking than EMTB outside of this particular internet bubble/echo-chamber etc.

I don’t think we need to feel sorry for them, put it that way! 😀

Can't find any better offer than 40% discount on S-Works can you?

A few on here, just for starters?

I don’t think the S-Works is typical of Specialized discounts, given the RRPs, but maybe/hopefully they’ll do something when the Gen 4 finally drops.

I was more thinking about the top level bikes not medium and low even though Specialized has big discounts on them as well but all the discounts are different from country to country and in length.

I’ve been dying to se what it looks like ( although I have a idea of concept thanks to Sl) still frikken excited

So if these industry dudes conclude that Bosch is 'second best in the market" the new G4 will have to battle for silver or bronze? Still in top 3 at least.

There is undoubtedly just one "best bike" on the market and easy to pick out.
The one the buyer loves and wouldn't change for anything on the planet even though he/her got more than enough bitcoins.

There’s not really a ‘best bike in the market’, just the best bike for you, which is likely the one you’ve already got. 😀😏

Regarding gen3 discounts, this looks quite nice, not bad price for a PRO:

As for the Gen4 - I visited local Spesh service center in my city and they told me:
Gen4 - will be available in April
Will have new Brose motor
Motor doesn't have belt

I don't know what to think about it, but they looked pretty convicing.

Anyway, I was tired of waiting and I boutht Strive:eek:n ;). Will wait till next year for first "beta users" of new Levo to work out potential issues and then we will see.
