We are now pretty much confirmed at 110nm for the sworks and 100nm for the rest.
Battery will be 840w or 600w (side removable) and there will be a range extender of around 280w as an option.
Motor will be a Brose that Specialized has customized.
150/160 travel.
but this is confirmed by most dealers at the moment. SWORKS with max power and the rest a little under...No different powers between the models I was told. I asked this question as it appeared a few times here.
Good specs but 'shocks the industry' good?We are now pretty much confirmed at 110nm for the sworks and 100nm for the rest.

Agreed, to "shock" the industry at this time you will need to introduce something truly different and I don't see something like that coming in the near future.Good specs but 'shocks the industry' good?
I love this term “playful”. You want playful and poppy…. Change your suspension, zed is way more poppy/ playful than a 38, go for the trail shocks rather than dh shocks. Float x over float x2, dhx over dhx2. If your suspension is described as ground hugging, it’s not playful.I was told my bike would show up at 52lbs…maybe without the battery…Still rides great and is more playful than the levo and kenevo but its a lot of lift into the truck haha if any of these bikes with big batteries, full power, dh tires and proper suspension can end around 48lbs it would be magical.
we haven't seen the price yet....!Agreed, to "shock" the industry at this time you will need to introduce something truly different and I don't see something like that coming in the near future.
Might only be for a limited time. As it will be a software block. I think when Bosch release the update to 3 figures which is not to far away, specialized might have no choice but to allow all models to benefit.I can only say what I was told. Be a shame if specialized make the s works more powerful than other models.
zed is way more poppy/ playful.
Zed ?
I do love my Gen 3 Levo with tasteful upgrades, but the Crestline is something specialI'm going to put this in here even though it's completely off topic ...
You can either watch it if you consider it an alternative or not watch it until we have a Gen 4 Levo Video

I did contemplate doing a photoshop Gen4 Rob video thumbnail just to upset everyoneNice photoshop @Zimmerframe we all know you can’t fit the Bosch motor and a 800wh battery in to a VPP frame……err or is this the new new Vala
I hate those helium filled frames, they get all unpredictable when you Whip ...frame that’s 16kgs
How about a mass produced MGU with belt drive high power levo. Presumably belt can take more abuse than chains, and more power can surely only make that situation worse. It would also open up riding in worse conditions more often as cleaning the cassette/chain etc is a real pain currently, much less with belt. From what I can see (THE SHOCK) that’s been done unless it’s a battery that runs for 200km on a frame that’s 16kgs with a integrated belt and gear drive, with a 110 watt motor , also charges to 80 % in 20 minutes , with a future proof Tradeinn value ( and elephants can fly)
I got a chance to take a Rapcon for a spin, the MGU was loud as hell and the screen that it uses was hideous. I’m sure those are things that Pinion will improve as newer versions come out but I couldn’t live with the current version as it is.How about a mass produced MGU with belt drive high power levo. I realise there are already options out there but they aren't cheap.
115 Nm sounds great, but can it compete with DJI's 800-1000 Watts? Also heard from the guys this side South Africa the SWORKS will have 115 Nm with a 800 watt Bat pack also a range of 100km on trail
Its an uncommon fact that for EMTB's Torque is more important than watts.115 Nm sounds great, but can it compete with DJI's 800-1000 Watts?
Nobody cares!115 Nm sounds great, but can it compete with DJI's 800-1000 Watts?
Power is as important as it has ever been. Without those watts you won't get up steep hills fast. Its an uncommon fact that for EMTB's Torque is more important than watts.
Yeah bud, what world do you live in? Some care and I love it. The more power, the better.Nobody cares!
We need a mod to come thru and scrub the thread, it would probably end up being only 20 pages lol.Yes! Watts are welcome but why is every second Post referencing DJI?
because they are putting out the most watts / gram at the moment, Its pretty cool.Yes! Watts are welcome but why is every second Post referencing DJI?
Its not though, everything I've ever bought from Alibaba has shit the bed within a year or two.because they are putting out the most watts / gram at the moment, Its pretty cool.
Power is Power. The fact is, power = pi/30 X speed X torque, considering efficiency. Its an uncommon fact that for EMTB's Torque is more important than watts.
