New things no one though was possible usually shock the industry at least I got shocked when AI and emoji got to the market both very usable and exciting.
None of that matters if you don’t release the damn thing in a timely manner. I along with a few others I know got tired of waiting and went with a different brand, most of my mates jumped on the Amflow train. If Spesh would have at least did a press release I imagine a few of them would have waited if it was worth it. I don’t know who their marketing manager is but they’ve really screwed the pooch in this IMO.

True! A simple photo of the concept for the new Levo would have been enough to convince many to wait instead of switching to other brands. I don't understand why they organized a video with EMBN at the end of August where nothing was revealed, only saying that the bike would be seen very soon—something that was repeated again in January by the same channel—only to keep exhausting potential buyers with an endless wait...

Did amflow give a press release? No, because it's about trade secrets, but I understand that people are tired of waiting.

DJI did a press release with the motor and said it was coming on their own bike, that’s far more than Spesh has done. It’s costing them sales though and will only get worse once people find out it’s wireless drivetrain only.

Timeliness depends on your own circumstances though doesn’t it, personally I’m not ready to buy a new bike anything, so they can take their own sweet time! 😂

I still enjoy riding my current EMTBs, see absolutely nothing that any new bike would bring to the party for my riding and routes, other than trail centre car park bragging rights…

and releasing infos too early would cost them sales of the current model.

I bet Specialized will continue to work with Brose but the question is what TQ and peak power will be in G4.
Fantic got a ebike with Brose motor at 90TQ and 720w peak power so is G4 gonna be even more powerful?
Yeah I guess so and new amazing software.
Specialized, Brose and SRAM has a delicious threesome.

Releasing late costs sales of both G3 and G4 though doesn't it...? G3 is heavily discounted already. If it hasn't sold by now, will it ever?
Because Levo's have been on sale with heavy discounts for what 12 months? it devalues the brand. If they had G4 on at full price, v's G3 at the reduced price, the consumer can make their own choice and understand why a G3 is 'cheap'.
Doing it the way they have just makes the bikes look like they were priced wrong in the. 1st place.

I have just seen the same loam wolf video and I think they’ve made a mistake, as the bike has a removable 720 wh battery and no mention of 720w peak power in the Tech data

Discount will be finished on G3 and G4 priced around 10% higer is a possibility.

Pivot Shuttle AM. $7350 for the Pro X0 model is a steal. I demoed a Pivot LT and a 25 Wild. The Wild was a Monster Truck and too much bike for my needs, as it is purely a downhill chunk smasher.
Also rode the Wild and agree it was burly, felt heavy and didn't change directions very quick. I bought the Vala, its feels like a normal bike compared to the Wild, poppy and turns quick. Makes me wonder about the guys buying the Crestline 180, I used to think I wanted a long travel EMTB but not sure anymore.

I had thoughts of buying a Crestline 160, but when I found out it was 53+ lbs, I said no thanks.

After owning the Levo Gen 3 for almost two years, the first bike I demoed was the Pivot LT and the way the Pivots change direction and turn on a dime, is night and day better than the Levo was.

I was told my bike would show up at 52lbs…maybe without the battery…Still rides great and is more playful than the levo and kenevo but its a lot of lift into the truck haha if any of these bikes with big batteries, full power, dh tires and proper suspension can end around 48lbs it would be magical.

Come on! It doesn't matter if it's called Media Camp or Launch... there's one event for the magazines and the social media guys (4 weeks ago) and the next one is for the folk...

Don't understand your point ?? The fact is the public will see the bike in April and for all potential customers here that's what counts.

Also heard from the guys this side South Africa the SWORKS will have 115 Nm with a 800 watt Bat pack also a range of 100km on trail
We are now pretty much confirmed at 110nm for the sworks and 100nm for the rest.
Battery will be 840w or 600w (side removable) and there will be a range extender of around 280w as an option.
Motor will be a Brose that Specialized has customized.
150/160 travel.
