Ok price but the long gear cable loop?
Looks like the same way to remove battery as Specialized Tero and if you are not fast enough to catch the battery it will fall to the ground.
For some april is just around the corner.

Can you show me adverts for it last year because everything I can find says that the 2025 trek rail was released this month
Again off topic, but since there is still no Levo news - TREK RAIL+ 2025 was unveiled in September 2024 (published Sept 30): Trek's new Rail+ starts at £6,000, gets a full-size 800Wh battery and a travel boost to 160mm - MBR

It has been on TREK Euro websites since at least November '24, and limited quantities of RAIL+ bikes (certain models and sizes) have been available from Euro dealers since ~December '24. However, if you search from AUS or US you will not see TREK Euro websites without forcing it by writing address Bikes - Trek Bikes - Trek Bikes (DE), etc.

cant wait for the gen 4 to be like the vala, everyone hates it at launch, complains then few months later its best bike ever
current gen3 levo is almost the same bike. What the point? It has similar geo, similar power numbers, similar range, why the hell anyone upgrade their levo to something like vala? And consider its bad display and lack of metrics for garmin.

I expect new levo to be something another level, so I could have new experience with it, not slightly better here and there

I think it’s that expectation that has led to these delays. It’s tough to bring something out that is truly groundbreaking and they have a lot to live up to.

Another level in what regards ?
Same weight (if not a bit heavier)
same travel
same geo
Better suspension tune with the Genie shock
more power (but similar to bosch gen5 after the update and Dji)
Good range with the bigger battery (a bit more than Bosch 800w)
Still a small screen (compared to Dji and upcoming Bosch screen)
Same look as the SL but with a BIG downtube

No doubt it will be a great option, but not sure Another level

Which parts of this list are fact and which parts are speculation?

So I can keep up, that is.

New Levo is not on another level, it’s comparable to what’s already been released by other companies. Some people just can’t stomach buying poser brands like the Specialed, Trek and Amflow.

I doubt too that gen4 will be another level at any area, so I'm ready to wait for gen5 with my current gen3.

But answering your question, it doesn't matter for me. If I'm willing to pay astronomical amount of money for a bike then I want to have something significant, something that make the difference, not 500g lighter and 10nm more torque, etc.

Good example (which I hate to see here) is Amflow(dji motor system), thats really something new, a piece of tech that I would upgrade for.

Agreed, thought they will dare more with the design, offer more travel and have a lighter motor and battery than other players.
To be fair though, what can they do better than a multi billion $$ Chinese tech giant ??

well, thats an interesting question :)
I think spesh wont be able to compete with DJI for some time in terms of electronics, and considering that for me a good selling point could be some modular battery system, so one day I could go ride with 300-400wh battery like an SL bike, and another day with 800wh battery as full fat bike.
I dont like range extenders since there is no room for decent water bottle, and thats a deal breaker for me, I dont ride with backpacks. I could use some fidlock mounts on top tube but it just doesn't feel right.

You will have the 600w option and another option (let's say smaller than 400w) ...
lol, found a “cheap “($400) 500wh battery for my Kenevo. Have to say, I don’t feel a lot of difference between a 7.9lb(700wh) and a 6.3lb (500wh)battery when on the bike. I stand by my belief that weight is less of an issue on e bikes.

On the other hand, I go on a weekly 4-5 hr ride with my 55# Kenevo and it is very hard to lift over fences and gates that we encounter. In retrospect, I wish my bike was lighter, like the SL I used to own . . .
PS: I sold the Levo SL because it did not have enough range for the 4-5 hr rides

ride a kenevo sl, then add the range extender. if you can’t feel the difference, you are not really riding

Dealers may have some info before but the release is only in April.
If they were to lift the press embargo sooner than the actual release date then they might save themselves some customers. Don't see the harm in having some media release first ride impressions, etc. over the next 6 weeks to at least build some hype and give people a glimpse at the bike.
