A slightly unusual new bike from Fuell ..
Whilst many of the commuter bikes you see seem to come with 300wh-500wh batteries, as they spend most of their time on the road and there's only so far people will ride around instead of seeking alternatives ..
The new Fuell Flluid 2 comes with the 130nm Valeo motor and gearbox combination (4.9kg - A Sachs RS with 110nm is 3.6kg without a gearbox, Brose Mag S 90nm /Bosch Gen4 85nm 2.9kg) and a whopping 2kw of battery power spread over 2 internal/removable batteries !??!
Yes - it's super sexy !
It seems a bit like an exercise in wastefullness ? Just how many people who buy this do they imagine will take it on the 350km ride it's rated at being possible ? At 25 kph max, that's 14 hours in the saddle .. I'm not sure many people who want that style of bike are the people who want to spend 14 hours in the saddle ?
There is also the Fluid 2S which is limited to 45kph (speed pedalec) so this might be more where they think the majority of their sales will go - the electric moped/mobilette market . The "2" conforms to the normal 250w limit, whereas the "2S" is limited to 1000w.
Not sure if anyones ridden anything yet with the Valeo/Effigear unit. With a 7 speed box combined with 130nm, it could be quite effective. The Gearbox gives a 450% range.

Belt drive :
There's an app which lets you do various things, including locking the bike electronically.
Uncluttered and clean looking cockpit ......
If that's too much bike for you, they also do the "3" which is a 1000wh single battery step through version. Think of it as the "SL" model in the range for those who appreciate a more nimble ride to the shops.
Not sure about the weight, but the older Bofeili motored/Shimano Alfine version was 36kg's/79lbs - That was with twin batteries which totalled only 1000wh ! The "3" version is 35kg's, so the 2 must be over 40kg's. The frame is stated as being aluminium, but it could be an alloy with a high lead content to get the weight up.
