Cheers dude - man I want an eggrider now, that interface is so much cleaner than the windows app...and correct me if i'm wrong, but this means you can tweak the settings while you're out and about...

Thanks dude, yep the cover still fits - the rebates on the long sides of the case allow for the lip. I guess you could modify it towards a pot-bellied design, for more cells, but it'll already hold 56x 21700 cells, so looking at 20Ah and 52v.

I'm not sure how I feel about sharing the STLs yet, it took me ages to design, its only V1 and not 100% right (I had to file a corner off to get it to fit!), plus some of the dimensions are so weird I'm not even convinced it'd fit in somebody else's frame! I'd defo be interested to get some dimensions from another frame and compare...

Will keep you posted, correct on the config - 4x banks of 12 and 1x 8 bank of 8...that's the theory anyway

There is a post in this thread that shows I think a 21ah soft wrap 21700 battery in two parts that looks like it is at the limit.

You definitely wont be fitting 65x 21700 cells in a stock medium sized frame. Maybe if you took a Dremel to the frame....

I've been designing a 14S4P 21700 case (nearly there!). I'm pretty sure you wont get any more than 56 cells and a BMS into a medium sized, unmodified, frame - in a case or in a soft pack. Once you've taken the battery mountings out, 56 cells are a real squeeze anyway. I've no idea how much more space is in a large sized frame though, I guess there's potential to fit more cells in there.

NB: I've been warned off soft packs by somebody else in this thread, 'each to their own' though.

Bram, you mentioned you used an e13 model, can you specify which one? would it work with the factory 44t chainring?
I cant seem to figure anything out here...

thanks for asking your question on the channel. I've responded and the answer is that the teyssor sprockets come with their own hardware even at $7 each! My only comment on the hardware is it apears to be standard steel meant for a single chainring. I got about 4 turns of engagement before they tighened up. In light of your question i may be reusing the bafang sprocket bolts or purchasing some double chainring bolt to try.

It depends on which adapter you use.

I use the Christini 104bcd adapter. GBK and other vendors, sell the M500/M600/M510s chainring with a spacer. The reason being is because the M620s Q-factor is wider than the M500/M600/M510.

As such, I'm able to run the chainring on the inside of the spider 'as it was meant too'.
The M500/M600/M510 spider used on the M620 (recognising the Q-factor difference regardless of the 5mm spacer included), still means that the chainring is meant to be ran on the outside of the spider for optimum chain clearance.

As for the chain guide enquiry,

I've been looking into a feasible way to attach one onto the M620 without adding any further attachment points or using adhesive.

My best guess would be to use the two 4mm bolts as attachment points, but use a longer 4mm bolt for a chain guide attachment

I'll share my findings if I uncover a suitable method and a chain guide which may work

Neeko don't bother fitting a chain guide, I've been using just a Narrow Wide chain ring for over 12 months including the very muddy UK Winters where the motor literally gets covered completely with mud, without a problem so far. In fact I think I had more problems with a chain guide than not.

It's funny you should say that. Throughout the entire time I've built, ridden and thrashed my E22, I've never lost the chain or had it skip off from the narrow wide 12spd chainring. Same thing goes with my E10s as well.

It would be unfair/biased of me to suggest that the stock 44t 130bcd chainring/spider wont be as good compared to a lower teeth chainring. My preferences reflects my E22 build.
But using a 104bcd spider/chainring still allows you to use up to a 44t chainring.

what i meant was, is there a chainguide for a 44t chainring that is reasonably priced? as mentioned earlier, gluing one to the motor is an option I guess.... will see if it's needed once i start riding

The fork has 28.6 mm straight tube and as I know the E22 frame has tapered headtube, so I probably need some kind of adapter for the bottom part of headtube?
