Which is the best firmware for emtb on 48v battery?
Personally i'm use this 4812.

But it seem i'm "particular" user (1.93, 100Kg, high mountain use).
i have power cuts if i use 100% power in hard uphill (normal following bafang return) and occur with all software tested. i have setted S+ at 90% and i never use BOOST (setted at 100%)
I consume +- 1/2 less than M510, currently now with 9.6Ah battery, i never consume more than 60% (1600 D+ at max)

Hi everyone, I have a problem with the firmware of my m820 48v. I should have the 25 km/h limit by law. I sent an email to Bafang but after a few emails nothing, he told me that it can be done with the phone via bluetooth.

So if I understand correctly your limit is too high. You can only limit the assist speed by a percentage from max with GO+ app. After you need to test where it actually stops assisting and adjust if necessary.
Only with BESST tool can you set an exact speed limit.

ok thanks a lot, bafang told me that via BT it was possible to update the firmware, made by them for me, to have the right limit. I don't know anything else. Too bad that from a smartphone it can't be done.

OK, now I understand. Yes you can update your firmware with the GO+ app. With the serial number from your motor it will automatically find update for you. You can not choose any other, only update or not update. That will probably solve your problem.

well I don't know I tried from the app but I can't do anything. I think I'll buy the BESST, since Bafang doesn't answer me anymore

hi, my engine does not communicate with my DIY battery and therefore my residual charge percentage is wrong. I don't know how to do it with the BEEST. does anyone know how to do it?

Greetings. Try another firmware. The same thing happened to me with one firmware. I don't know which one now, but I'll try to find it.

Hi guys!
I just received my M820 to use on my LCE930 with Bafang 43V battery
Current firmware is CRX30PC4310E102001.6 (see attached picture)

Reading the 4 pages here it seams I have a 10A firmware for Road... Is it really the case?

Before updating to CRX30PC4313E102001 3_eMTB_230317 found on this thread, I want to know if the "2001.6" means it's a newer firmware than "2001.3".

Is there a way to backup my current firmware? I don't want to push an older version and not be able to put the one originally there.

Another question: when trying to cloud update with BESST Pro I get an error message saying my serial number should start with CR..

I do have a BESST Tool.

thanks!

hello everyone, i have a problem with the engine. after the first ride, i customized the engine a bit. but now it seems to me that it doesn't give me the power that it should give especially uphill. in the first ride on the display in boost it was indicated up to about 500/560 W. now it is 120/130 W. why? and still the battery percentage is not exactly right. thanks

As has been discussed here before, the percentage scale is wrong from bafang. 20 percent on display, is 50 percent on my bms. That is why it is even more enoying that battery saver starts already at 20 percent.

You can take out more of the battery by using 43V firmware with 48V battery or 36V firmware with 43V battery. It takes the battery down to 20 percent on bms when battery saver starts. This also gives you somewhat more power, but it makes the percentage scale even more messed up. It shows 100% until around 70 percent battery, then drops more quickly.

ok but sorry Bafang can't you fix this and/or give the possibility to remove it?

not possible tachnically i think 410wh battery 12s2p so only 2cells working together when you load 500w at only two dischcharged cells voltage drops dramaticly ,bms cut off voltage and ride finished :)
