i’m removing my m820 to fix cable rattle. is there any motor maintenance that i could do whilst the motor is out?
Re-grease if at or near service interval. I did mine only a few 100 km's from new using instructions from here and can not say it changed much but 1) now have piece of mind, 2) know that occasional sounds aren't anything serious and 3) assured it is properly greased.

Nothing from the manu. that I am aware of but every 2,500km seems to be mentioned most. There is at least one very detailed instruction set located here.

I didn't use the finer needle bearing grease, just used the recommended aviation grease - Mobil 28 - on everything. The motor seemed just a bit quieter.

Hi, I have the LCE930 ebike with the Bafang M820 motor.
How can I configure the motor parameters with the Bafang Go+ App, to get the best performance from the motor? Currently I have it like this:

Actually you can set just Global Acceleration and Max power at each PAS level.

Current speed limit does have nothing with speed - it is max RPMs of rotor, leave at 100%.

Startup angle - how quick engaging motor after starting pedalling. 10 Degree is fine.

This motor does not support Assistance level (torque sensor sensitivity, only M510 FC2.0 and M560 is supporting so far).

But check for the motor firmware version. Bafang is sending 43v version with 10A max. You can flash there 13A firmware, which will give you 130W more.

Hi,
thanks.
I don't have a tool to update the firmware, and I don't know how to do it. So the only thing I can do with the APP is change the angle to 10 degrees.
With the App, I understand that it is impossible to change the firmware.
Saludos

So far have not seen how to update firmware over Go+

Go to controller info menu and check for SW version.

Firmware can be updated also over K1 Flash, check my signature.

On your bike display setting , set to display watt, as you pedal , you can how watt your motor output, try towing a bike behind and set to B on up hill climb. Then u can see your motor Max watt.
