Sorry for delays on this but back on schedule now and with time on my hands to get it finished?
Finial stages of refining the frame completed today in the sunshine.
Have gone a little further with the finish than on my Levo, but think as it’s an SL can get away with the higher shine to the finish (can always knock it back a bit if I want?)
Awaiting fork delivery in the week then we should be good to go on the build up.

That is some impressive polishing - I take back what I said earlier about just taking it down the bead blasters!

That is going to be awesome when finished.... IMG_20200405_172456.jpg With the monster chip I have on my FF Levo Comp's top tube from it falling over in the workshop I will consider doing this myself.

That's a nice build !
I broke the plastic door that covers the charge port. How does that come off and install? Those 4 screws seemed to release something interal but the door part didn't want to come off.

The four screws self tap into the plastic back section. Once they are out you will need to give the front cover a little tweek with something to lever it off. Nothing else holds in on but be careful the rear part inside the frame (pictured below) doesn’t drop in or you’ll have to drop motor to refit.

So pretty much done apart from the decals....so tempting to put up some shots but will resist until 100% done.
Did a final weight check.....spec below, I’m happy?

2020 Levo SL Alloy Raw frame
Rockshox Pike Ultimate 150 travel
Roval SL carbon wheelset w/ Maxxis Ardent exo tyres - tubeless
Sram Guide Ultimate brakes & Disc w/ Ti bolts throughout
Sram XX1 Eagle drive train
Rockshox AXS dropper & ti railed carbon saddle
Deity Carbon bars
Deity stem
Deity grips
Crank brother eggbeater pedals (prob change these as they are crap!)

You could do that but all the weight would be in the wrong place, high up on your back rather than low down in the frame. It will impact the handling imo.

Just a quickie as you've had it apart, mine seems to have an annoying rattle from the downtube, did it look like any of the cables could be loosened or badly installed to create a rattle?

I’d take the TCU out and see if those cables/connectors are a cause. Had that on my Alloy Levo and wrapped in foam tape to resolve.
Other than that there are two solid plastic pipes that guide the brake/shifter cables. Just a push fit at the top of down tube, could rattle if they came loose I suppose but you’d need to drop motor & battery out to see.

Thanks for that, its definitely coming from lower down, I'll drop the motor out and have a peek.
