Yeah it’s not even close
Sure they would, they’ve created standards that never caught on and umpteen billion proprietary parts that you can’t getAnd of course spesh would never change the bolt pattern would they
Specialized already uses an interface plate to mount the motor, so it may be as easy as changing this plate. And of course spesh would never change the bolt pattern would they
The new motor will be priced higher, for a while at least. And if the battery is bigger it will have a direct influence.I wonder at what price point there new levo range will be ..spesh are already a premium price range and rumours are the new one will be much more expensive
About time.Stubby stem would seem to indicate longer geo
New smaller battery(no longer has the CPU parts etc in the battery)
I hope not. Longer reack/stack than 400/410 and 600/610 mm on M size for me are not convenient at all. I owned a Trek Remedy 9.9 2017 which was 435/595 and was terrible on deep downhill. I never reached an accettable feeling with it so I sold it after 6 months!Stubby stem would seem to indicate longer geo
That's quite interesting. What's inside that battery?
No idea! Let’s wait more news from the net...That's quite interesting. What's inside that battery?
It's not the standard 18650 3500mAh cells in a 36V config, because a 50 cell battery is 630Wh/17,5Ah. A 60 cell is 756Wh/21Ah. Could it be we're finally seeing bigger 18650 cells? A 50 cell battery would have to be about 3880mAh and would weigh ~3kg.
It's more likely 4800mAh 21700 cells in a 36V config. That's 691Wh and 19,2Ah, and the weight is probably approaching 3,5kg.
I'm hoping for the 18650 3880mAh cells, that could put the Focus battery up from 378 to 421Wh. And the Shimano from 504 to 562Wh. But I don't think bigger 18650 cells will be used for 2019.
looks kind of similar to the focus on off switchIt would make sense to get the controller out of the battery. Im sure i have seen the top tube component before just cant remember where
I hope so. It was the primary reason I didn't buy a Levo.I hope not. Longer reack/stack than 400/410 and 600/610 mm on M size for me are not convenient at all. I owned a Trek Remedy 9.9 2017 which was 435/595 and was terrible on deep downhill. I never reached an accettable feeling with it so I sold it after 6 months!
Different tastes...I hope so. It was the primary reason I didn't buy a Levo.
Did you at least request a release date in exchange for your good will ?I have been contacted by Specialized requesting removal of pictures, which out of respect for the teams involved, I’ve removed them so this bike can get the full launch that it deserves ?.
Thanks for understanding
