Just as well. Went for a cycle today, lots of puddles about. About 4 miles in before i noticed id forgot to put the battery compartment cover on. Battery got a good soaking.
Would like if there was an attachment point on the cover and a bit on the bike so it is attached loosely with a short...
My parents had a discovery, not sure which year. Their garage told them not to get one, it'd be great for him, but not them.
And he wasnt wrong, think that garage and the dealers had it longer than they did. Eventually got rid of it and got a hilux.
Wore my normal gloves at the weekend with a pair of thin nitrile gloves on inside them. Hands had been soaked and freezing before that. Surprised how much difference it made. Might just keep a few pairs on nitriles in my bag and switch them out if they get wet inside.
Cant complain, delivery was fine and fairly quick.
Ive got a Cube, which comes with a 625 already, i just wanted a spare 625 also. There is a clamp at the top of the battery section which can be moved down to fit a 500 battery.
I dont know your bike, but you'd have to make sure it can take a...
Yeah, there should be more warnings about the fly intake :)
Gotta admit, i tried sticking to eco and even turning it off occasionally also, for the first few rides. Ive gradually started sneaking it up into tour though, and unless its pretty flat,it stays in emtb quite often! Turbo doesnt get...
Mine (hybrid reaction pro also) started to creak after 100 miles or so. Not sure what kind of maintenance is required on headsets,or how often, but a spray of gt85 into any of the gaps i could find stopped it straight away, so may be worth a shot.
Check the underside of the top tube, think thats where i noticed my sticker. I'll check tommorow and post back.
A clicky headset, or creaky? Mine started to creak a bit, gave it a squirt of lubricant and it stopped it.
Didnt know i needed one of these untill i read this thread.
Ordered a Worx Hydroshot.
Quite a few bad reviews on Amazon for it though, mainly lack of pressure issues. Im assuming its just idiots expecting a full power pressure washer, as there are mostly good reviews, and everyone here seems...
Always considered getting something like this for kayaking/mtbing, but never got around to it.This one looks good.
No cost for this other than the initial purchase?
How hard would it be to accidentally trigger? Looks like its got a good cover, is it fairly secure?
Is it not on the person going downhill, or anywhere, to ride at a safe speed going round blind corners or blind hills where you can't see what or who is ahead? (I don't mean just on them, obviously common sense applies to the others going up also.)
I don't ride trail centres or marked trails...
Yeah, seems a bit strange if same size and weight.
Considered gettting a 500 myself a few weeks ago, to carry as spare for longer rides. Ended up getting a second 625 and the evoc eride backpack with dedicated sleeve for the spare.
Ive carried it on most of my rides so far, the weight isnt...
Something else to consider, if you havent, is can your bike take the 400?
Mines a 625, and the clamp can only be moved to take the 500.
Assuming the 400 is shorter than the 500. Picture looks the same length on the bosch site as the 500, but odd that its as heavy also.

Do one for 29 2.4-2.8
Bad hearing has its benefits.People say things to me as i go past and i just laugh and smile. No idea whether it was nice or nasty :)
Did get blanked by 2 normal mtb'ers last weekend though. Saw them in the distance pushing up a hill. Gained on them, then took an alternative track and cycled up...
