I stuck the bubblewrap foil insulation to the roof of my custom with it... can confirm it gets everywhere. And if you look up at the right moment, it even gets in your eyes!
It looks great. Would love to do similar, but got to keep it fairly empty for work use. Just got a camping bed and a...
Ive got a cube hybrid reaction pro. Headseat started to creak after a few rides. Got round to it last week and decided to take it apart for curiosity and to see if it needed grease.
Only 210 miles on the bike since september, but the bottom bearing is alot slower than the top to rotate, and its...
Its something ill keep in mind as a possible upgrade. Most of the time its fine, but down faster rough stuff its pretty rough..
I was lucky not to have to buy a replacement, reversed back along the road a bit and found it :)
Sounds good, was considering something like that, but not got around...
Yep, theres a few of us!
Bought mine from Pure Electric up here also. They're using one of my pictures on the images of the bike on their site actually which is nice (Bike against the white post with hills in background) :)
Good that you can enjoy cycling pain free again.
Interesting.
Is the distance without assistance readout displaying only when you have mode set to off, or is that including the distance travelled when above the assistance speed limit?
I've been giving my forks a spray with GT85 after rides. Watched a gmbn maintenence video yesterday though that says not to do that as it can break down the heavier greases.
Ive got the suntour xcm 100mm travel on mine. Ive never had a decent bike, the battery for the cube cost more than my 2 previous bikes put together, so i have no reference for how good or bad the suntours feel.
It does feel like im going to be shaken loose going over rough ground, arms get sore...

Your bike looks good, like that color scheme. I got my cube hybrid hardtail with plans for multiday...
It varies alot depending on ground conditions, steepness etc. Boggy stuff seems to drain it in no time.
Just back from a ride today, 30 miles,2628feet. 24 miles tar backroads, 6 miles boggy singletrack.
Im 76kg, and i carry a spare battery+backpack with tools/water/jacket etc. So another 6-7kg...
I was just thinking this exact thing a few days ago, for my van also. Had a quick look on wiggle but didnt see anything suitable either, and then forgot about it.
Figured if i got a stand and fixed it down, with the wheel off i could put the bike across the back doors standing up, so its not...
Looks more of a challenge not to wheelie on them.
Didnt they feel very backwards tippy with the seat as high and far back over the wheel?
Bit before my time, so never had the...pleasure?.. of riding one ;)
Mine, for one of the brief moments she actually spends in the canoe instead of swimming. Pretty sure there was a bubble spotted not long after this requiring a close up view
A shame. Just watched Gmbn's "A day in the life of a a trail builder" earlier, and im sure thats where that was at.
I'll be honest ,and i dont mean to lump them all together, but im always wary when meeting a group of scrambler riders when out on forestry tracks/hills by myself. They tend to be...
