brakes: Saints vs XT M8120 vs Zee (all 4 piston)

What @Alexbn921 said pretty much. My advice if you're going shimano is just slap some XT's in there and call it a day. Easy to find, easy to get parts for, easiest to bleed.

    500wh battery in a Voima!

I considered running a smaller battery too, in the end it was easier to just get another 750. Actually I just checked the 500 and 625s are now available in the smart system. So yep, just a spacer you'll need.

    500wh battery in a Voima!

Perhaps one small issue is the 750 smart system battery terminals aren't the same as the 500 and 625. Well the chargers aren't compatible so I assume the terminals are the same.

Invisiframe - Should you buy? Answer - Yes

A top tip of you haven't done it before is to choose a piece that's not to complicated to start with to get the hang of it. (Small without alot of bends) . Ridewrap specific here, don't be afraid to tinker with the soapy water mix. The wrap should just, only just be able to be slide around on...

    Magura MT7 Pro's - what do I need?

I don't mean to turn this into a which brake post, so my apologies in advance. I swapped some mt7's for Hayes dominions. They're pretty much better in every single way, bleeding, power, lever feel and the micro adjust function is awesome to get perfect pad alignment. Literally the only thing I...

    Crestline ride review.

Thought I'd give a first ride review of my Crestline 7550, seeing as there's so few in the wild and if you're like me you froth on reviews. It's my 3rd ebike and first bosch powered one. My riding is heavily dh focused, I have a dh bike too. I actually loath pedaling lol. My favorite trails...

Comment by 'Robstyle' in article 'Crestline EMTB: Gravity-Oriented Long-Travel Electric Mountain Bike'

My 7550 was 24kg using my shitty bathroom scales. So it's there or there abouts. It definitely feels light!

I'm curious George, why don't you just get the suspension changed? It's the same bike. The 5075 is actually better speced with carbon wheels and cranks

Full Face Helmet drill down thoughts

Smith mainline! Ticks all the boxes, super light, dh rated, super ventilated. Love mine. Sizing wise fits close to fox sizing. Had a hugey with mine, hit hard enough to crack the helmet, landed directly onto rocks on my head. I was fine (bar grazes and bruises, not on my head mind you)...

    Voima Sizing Questions/Views/Opinions

@Plummet what would you put on a Crestline to turn it into 26k? Re voima, just get a K1. It'll be fine. I've got a medium norco range with 450 reach, I'm 178cm, there's 37mm difference in top tubes between these bikes I hate pedalling it (because I'm unfit lol) but it feels fine, just slam the...

    Overstroke shock travel...hypothetical of course.

Nah the geo remains the same as the eye to eye length of the shock remains the same. So no change in Bb if you're using the same ride 4 position. Pos 4 or the steepest setting gives the most travel though.

    Overstroke shock travel...hypothetical of course.

Shit yeah. Make sure nothing hits,( in all geo positions too) good to go. I increased my '22 Powerplay to 65mm stroke, it's absolutely fine.

    Frequency of torque sensor calibration?

Best thing to do if you stop a bit is just turn the assistance off ie to 'it's all you'. Then you can rest on pedals Pretty much would just calibrate every big ride, didn't really bother changing into 1st gear
