Anyone use Anti-Pedal Kickback Tech on EMTB?

I managed to drop 400gms of weight of my dh bike. It's a long story, but I used to run t-type on it. Was to be able to hot swap wheels with my ebike in case of flats etc. Anyway went to XO1 7spd with an og axs derailleur with med cage, it saves a shit load of weight. The difference in...

Anyone use Anti-Pedal Kickback Tech on EMTB?

@Suns_PSD , yeah that's another thing with an ochain is that you're really able to isolate suspension performance. PK or chain whip are tricky things to tell apart for sure. Dropping unsrung weight makes a huge difference too. Way more than I thought.

    ETA for Gen 5 S 180

You can't go wrong with either size I reckon. I ordered with a 600 specifically for the weight. I think the 600 will be dialled for 95% of the stuff I do. If I start running outta battery I'll just buy a 2nd battery in 800 flavor. I would rarely max out a 750 for reference.

To coil or not to coil….that is the..suspension?😜

Any bike who's suspension rates etc ya wanna find (to a degree) just Google "*insert bike and year here* linkage design blogspot" oh and translate on 😅 Trek Rail 9.9 2020 Pretty sure the 2020 is the same as 21. It has a good leverage curve, doesn't do anything weird.

Anyone use Anti-Pedal Kickback Tech on EMTB?

It wasn't a placebo. Chain less feels amazing haha. Everyone can try it for free too and by your own choice 😅 I was a skeptic before am not now. Not interested in the hub though, she heavy.

Anyone use Anti-Pedal Kickback Tech on EMTB?

I run an ochain on my bosch motor. The reasoning behind trying was I went from a cheap low engagement rear hub to an i9 hydra. Not by choice, that was just what came on the used wheelset I bought. Anyway, I noticed straight away the kickback that hub induced and I didn't like it. Especially...

    ETA for Gen 5 S 180

I run 155's, ochain and 34t. Definitely worth shooting for 155's if you can.

    How big is your rotor?!

I run 223/203 on my Crestline with trinity's with trickstuff power pads up front and stock intend pads in the rear. Tbh the only reason I went with the big front rotor is so the caliper cleared the spokes up front 🤦. Do appreciate the bigger rotor though.

    New Bosch Gen 5 rumours

I was moreso referring to torque. I just wonder why not release it with more? Rather than wait. I totally agree that 600w 85nm is enough BTW. It's a great direction they've gone with a refining the system and higher energy density batteries. There's no other motor system I'd rather have at...

So they're going to bump the outputs right, why is that a few months away ie not at release?

    Review Vorsprung Telum

Really great product alright. I have one on my Crestline too. I'm running a way lower spring rate than normal. I think 540lb when I had 570lb on both my ebike and dh bike.

    Crestline Bikes

I think Crestlines response is perfectly fair and reasonable. Did you contact works components for a price on a custom headset cup?

Kryptotal tyres and rims / wheels mounting or compatibility

Haha, they are the worst. Installing one with cushcore can be a soul destroying process. I've put them on 541's, didn't seem too bad. As others have said soapy water helps. I bought some icetoolz plastic coated metal tyre levers, you shouldn't need to swing off them. Just a more reliable solution.

No display thing under the top tube. Different bash guard. Big Gen 5 energy.

That German article pretty much said what I'd heard about them.

Any tips for running new rear brake line?

You can just tape some string or fishing line to you old lines before you pull them out. Crestline routing is pretty easy I've done it quite a few times now. The only tricky bit is the rear triangle. The oval opening at the front of the triangle can be fiddly to guide the new hose down. The...

New Altitude Powerplay.... overheat warning question

I've not ridden a carbon to confirm, but the heating is very localised at the motor. There's not an effective pathway for the heat to distribute to the frame. In short the motor gets super hot, everything around it is cool.

Also New Bike Day :-). 2024 Crestline RS180

They're intend flash forks. I'm glad they lived up to the hype haha. I was pretty surprised how dry signal was the other day, I managed to crack a rim that day 🤦 Keen for a qtwn bike mission in the spring 😁

New Altitude Powerplay.... overheat warning question

Yeah it's just a thing they do. I got told to turn boost level down and make sure my cadence was right. In the end the fix was to buy a bosch bike lol.
