My wife has a Stereo Hybrid 140 pro 2018. Can anyone compare these pictures against their own bike and let me know if the derailer looks bent. The bike was dropped and the gears are now out of alignment.

I would definitely buy another Giant Trance. For me it's been a reliable bike at 1300 miles. I have the e+3 now but would prob upgrade to the e+2.

Thanks Jamy. That's the chain I bought. Did as you suggested and measured agains the old chain and removed 5 links. Installed new chain on bike and it shifts through all gears ok. It's developed a rattling sound from the gear area with the new chain I will have to look into. Maybe old cassette...

My Giant Trance e3 has now done 1046 miles. No problem with the Motor (Yamaha). Actually the bike has been pretty much problem free ?

Milage is just a basic function. Why they don't include it in the app is beyind me.

New app update and still no total miles readout. I have to manually add mine up.

I recently tore my chain guide off when my trouser got trapped in it. I have been out on my Trance E +3 since and had no problems. Hammered the bike over rock gardens and all is good.

Ok I just checked the front one and it was very loose. Did as suggested and set to 15nm which felt quite tight. Thanks all.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I wanted to check they were tight is I get creaking sounds when I peddle. All other bolts are torqued correct so just those two on the picture to check. Thanks.

It's just a circular hole the other side. I don't know how I can grip it to stop it moving.

Can anyone advise me on how to tighten these two bolts? I have a torque wrench and when I try to check they are at correct torque the whole bolt rotates all the time.

Hi. My trouser got trapped in the front chain guide and tore the guide off. Is it necessary to have the guide or can I get away without it? Thanks.

I ride in water just below the motor. No problems on my Trance. The wifes Cube is a different story. Motor had to replaced after water ingress.

I have handed it to the bike shop and they will advise me on what to do. Hope it's not expensive.
