I bought the Bluetti EB150 which is much cheaper and more portable. It is less than the price of a new Giant battery (AU$1400), which are out of stock in any case here and have been for ages, and would not be any use for powering my other devices.
I think it's brilliant. It can charge my 625W...
Well, you could be right since most things written about batteries contradict each other, except that the manual is very specific and surely it is based on the technology from Panasonic that makes the product?
I notice that much of the manual is about other bikes (no lights on the Trance) but...
It depends where you ride. PLBs are expensive, but if you go way off route in no-cell country, it's the way. Most of us are fine with just a phone and telling someone where we are going. Myself I have a Garmin bike computer that has Live Tracking, so my wife can see where I am on a map.
Of course weight makes a difference. More work is done when mass increases. The most basic of physics.
Imagine a motor pushing a 60KG person vs pushing a 120KG person.
If you don't believe it, fill up six10-litre buckets of water (or find 60KG of weight, such as another person) and walk up a...
Ouch, same as the 2022 Giant issue then. Hopefully Trek acknowledge the problem fast. Looks like the Giant 2023s have a weld back in place over that weak area.
Thank you for the sarcasm. My point stands.
This really is bad, really bad, and apart from this forum it seems ignored. Also people are selling out all their replaced bikes it seems . who has a report on how the new frames go? Will they crack too?
Giant Australia does not even have Reigns for...
Yes they do it's normal. The handbook says it happens. If I have mine at 60%, it'll be something like 49% after 3 weeks or so. Same happens with all battery devices.
No, hosing around the motor is asking for trouble and water is bad for everything to do with ebikes. Try dry-cleaning with an agent other than water around there or just wet cloths.
I'd have thought Uk would love 39C, no need to go abroad when Cornwall and even the Cumbrian coast would be the same. I would have done growing up there. A couple of adaptations like we have in Australia and it would be perfect.
